日本に行きましょうか

"Learning a new language can be difficult. This active community offers friendly advice and support for those looking to improve their Nihongo," says the community "Japanese". Yeah, I got a tip for you: study a lot, asshole. (translator's note: "nihongo" means "Japanese language" in Japanese)
Thanks to this excellent community filled with fascinating people I managed to find this blog.
I'm in for it now.
For those of you who don't watch unholy amounts of anime speak Japanese, my entry title means "I'm saved!" and I really am.
:|

I just found out that I owe my school $2300. I don't have that money. At all.

Yeah amazing how prompt and clear schools are when it comes to money but how secretive and unclear they are when it comes to "can I take these classes at the same time?" STILL WAITING TO HEAR BACK, SPEAKING OF. How utterly arbitrary this entire thing is. CAN'T TAKE THESE TWO CLASSES AT ONCE, HURRR.
Why not? BECAUSE PREREQUISITES. But why is one a prerequisite to the other? They're the same class, practically.
IT'S A PREREQUISITE.
Fuuuuuuck me for asking.
Yesterday, I had math class in the morning. I've had this class for the last 3-4 weeks and my teacher was unexpectedly caucasian when I expected someone asian.
Because Asians are good at math I guess. White people never are good at math except a lot of the theories are named after the white guys that discovered them.
Wait--
Anyways, I want to watch episodes 2 and 3, which I hear are out, but YouTube is CRIMPING MAH STYLE!
What the fuck, man?
Usually, the fact the the future is a big fat question mark, that I, and the world as a whole, can go any of 20 directions I can think of and another 40 million I -can't- think of, scares me. Well, to be more accurate, it scares the shit out of me so badly that it frequently leaves me cowering in a metaphorical corner, tearing my hair out with terror.
Yeah I know what you mean.
(man who has been quoted saying "the future is trivia" and "the future is immaterial")
But this isn't about that.

Hey, yeah, speaking of something irrelevant.
This is about that one-in-a-million time when that big question mark delights me to the point of bouncing in place and squealing.

Wow you're really annoying. Oh, dare I click on the link that says "squealing" so I can read more of this wonderful post? A lesser man might recoil in horror but I am trained for this kind of situation. I'm going to do some editing here because quite frankly who gives a shit:
Today, my school did one of its many cheesy little events, but since I'm here and they offer free food, I decided to stop by. It's a diversity fair, but not about what you'd think it'd be about. Because this was about AGE diversity--how awesome is that?!

Not really.

Anyway, people were divided by when they were born, from as far back as WWI, WWII and the Depression, all the way up to 2000 and they fell into four overall groups: Veterans, Baby Boomers, Generation X and Generation Y.

So cool people, assholes who ruined the world, faggots and pussies respectively.
Fantastic.

They had little sheet thingers detailing general personality traits for each generation
Wait let me visually represent this. So in order from veteran to "Gen-Y" (my generation is so uncreative we can't even come up with our own name):Wooooooooooow, it's fucking nothing!

THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT WE'RE GOING TO DO, YET!! NOONE DOES!!

Peter Noone guide us.

How exciting is that? Our future is wide open.

Dark age up and coming, calling it now.
In the next 20 years, the whole world is going to learn how this generation of globally-conscious, hyper-connected, instantly-gratified people make decisions, how we lead, how we inspire the people who follow us.
The age of Twatter, Livejournal and DeviantArt. Glad to be here.

I thought about it, then realized that I first met a computer when I was 10, in 1999, and I first got to know one when I was 12, in 2001, so I believe that factlet.

First memory of a computer: playing Wishbone's "The Odyssey" on my Acer. Fuck yeah I just played that game recently, even.
Beat it in like 15 minutes because I've practically memorized The Odyssey in the interim 11 years, too.

It is possible to find God without finding a church.

Let me tell you about a really cool god, kids: his name is Zeus, and he doesn't require money from you like the Christian God does.
I plan on teaching at a Christian school. How long do you think I'll last before I'm fired (from the job or literally)?

I like pissing people off. Not people I like, obviously, but everyone else in the world, I kinda wanna piss them off. I ENJOY defying normality and taboo.

Considering this post is called her "Rant O Doom" (so randum xD) I'd now like to mention a recent phenomenon I've discovered. Everyone claims to be so randum xD and unique but they all do it in exactly the same way with the same vocabulary and everything, so their uniqueness and randum xD-ness is now a pattern you can track.
... Am I going crazy here or does anyone else spot the contradiction?
Anything I am told not to do, I want to do.

Wow so cool-- college-going white girl. You sure are zany and unique!
Of course, this defiant streak means I DO NOT want to do anything I'm told to do, either explicitly or implicitly. Do your homework? DNW. Lose weight? NOPE! Hate your squishy bits? FUCK YOU! See where this is going? Yeah.

So you're another fuck up asshole who's overweight and burdening our laboring health care system, and yet somehow you're proud of this, err, achievement.
Wow you sure are a unique snowflake.

Anyway, I can take direction when I need to. I finish my homework just in time to turn it in.

So-- you're special and unique because you don't do what you're told (including homework) and yet you do your homework and turn it in on time-- am I going crazy?
Now, I'm not gonna harass people about their opinions, even when it's WRONG, so long as they can explain WHY they think it.

>opinion
>wrong
It's like my brain is collapsing in on itself!
So, I haven't been complaining to you guys about my computer, because I probably deserve most of my computer woes. I watch free porn and hentai, download yaoi from semi-suspicious sources and visit mangafox.

>download porn from suspicious sources
>has computer troubles
You're just trying to get up on my tits, aren't you?

AVG is not only free, the newest version is so awesome it won't even let you open stuff that could kill you system, which it quickly proved, because I am an idiot. =.=

Wow the only AVG warnings I ever get are "you need to restart your computer to finish your updates" but then again I am smart enough to not open "childporn.jpg.pdf.exe.jar" so whatever.
I'm fat. This isn't a surprise. I want to be known as being pretty. I want someone to think I'm beautiful.

Even if you lose weight it still will not fix the unfortunate arrangement of your facial features~
So....I've started the summer semester. It's pretty much what I expected: a weird combination of too much work and too much free time.

SITTIN' IN CLASS FOR FOURS HOURS, TALKING ON MSN
GETTING AN A WITHOUT EVEN TRYING
SEMESTER OF THE YEAR ALL YEARS

I also finished watching Twelve Kingdoms. If you have never seen this anime, you DESPERATELY need to watch it.

No that's okay, really.

Ok, I'm taking IS 220. It's an international studies class focusing on Japanese history. My teacher is a 70 year-old white woman. Already makes you wanna go HUNH?

It does?
You can know stuff about cultures not your own, you know.
Anyway the rest of this blog is the same shit and zzzzzzzz so I'm going to go do something with my life.

OH MY FUCK LIVEJOURNAL COME ON MAN

Well they finally redid the Livejournal user interface and needless to say it's fucking shit.
The news post about this says a lot of shit that, to me, basically boils down like this: "WE MADE IT A LOT EASIER TO ORDER SHIT FROM OUR SHOP BUT SCALED THE USABILITY BACK ON EVERYTHING ELSE."Holy shit. You idiots do realize usability isn't a finite resource and you can make everything convenient, right?
Anyway I managed to analyze, adapt and overcome or whatever that series of actions is.
So here we go for our blog today: Love Keiko. I wonder if that's her signing a letter or an imperative sentence. LOVE KEIKO, NOW!
Either way not happening, but we'll see how this goes.
whoever said art school is easy, well screw them. it's HARD and damn expensive.

And won't get me a job in anything. Oh, and if I'm really good at it I don't really need a degree in it in the first place.
... Wait, why am I majoring in art again?

which totally sucks cause in most universities, the arts school gets the lowest end of the budget. but i'm adjusting.
Don't want to hear it from you fags. Litfags, sociologyfags and nursefags all share one building at my university while you art idiots get to stretch out in three cushy buildings.
I mean I guess I can see sociology and literature sharing a building (it's virtually the same thing when you think about it) but at least give the people who are going to be giving people shots and other important shit their own space to think.
met some totally awesome people. which is SO weird how much easier it is to make friends in college than in high school.
Let's see. High school, where you are forced to attend and everyone is raging jackass versus college where it's optional and most people are there by choice. Yeah, real surprising it's easier to make friends in college.
i guess cause here i have a clean slate so it's not like anyone can hold 6th grade drama against me. that's a good thing, ne?

>ne
>her name is Keiko
not sure if I should be angry at this. All right I'm going to cut you some slack here but I'm watching you. Scum.
i feel like shit right now. and here's why:

so i was crossing the street out of a development into another lane (try to picture it). i guess my turn was a little too wide---either way the guy next to me was DEFINATELY speeding and our cars brushed each other. BRUSHED!

No you have it backwards. Your turn wasn't too wide, he was too far into your lane. His fault, don't know what to tell him.
i started waving and apologizing but he started cursing and pulled over so i did too. i apologized and said it was an accident but he started cursing and yelling at me!
Keep driving. Don't look back.

but desperate times called for desperate measure so i started begging him not to call.
Go ahead and call, asshole. All the cops are going to do is confirm you're in the wrong. But go ahead and make a jackass of yourself.Man girls are dumb.
my class was lazy as hell so many are going to community colleges. I SURE AS HELL am getting the hell up out my house (thank GOD!)

>community college
>lazy
Yeah have fun paying thousands to take English 101.
it's amazing how the ppl who were your BFF in middle school---how now you hate their guts--and the ppl you never knew before are now your BFF--and with growing up with so many diff. ppl, how many you really didn't get to know.
... DEEEEEEEP. Putz.

and even THAT isn't enough because i have relatives from nigeria LIVING down here!Relatives from Nigeria.
So this is a black girl I guess?
Weeaboo implies white, so-- WHAT'S THE TERM FOR THIS OH JESUS CHRIST HELP.
Also now I can officially rage at you throwing Japanese words into your English, even though you haven't done it since.
You're a crafty one.
then like very classic ghetto wannabe black girl she got loud with me and i got loud back.

Oh, classy.

i mean, it wasn't even that serious. i wasn't mad because i didn't take it to heart.
Ain't even mad, etc.
Oh, joke's on me: all these posts are from 2007. Fucking new Livejournal, I tell you.
Anyway none of this is important. What is important is check this shit out:You mean I can drink from my official FFXIV cup while playing FFXIV while watching the official FFXIV commentary while reading my official FFXIV map all while my character wears this:I'll take 15!
Also look at that fucking cover, goddamn. They finally got the people who know how to make video games back.
Oh looks like it's coming out on the PC first. Glad I got 4500~ on the benchmark, woooooo--

I, Livejournal

I am Livejournal
I scale back convenience for the sake of more ads
I play bad game Runescape
Thankfully, though, today it didn't take very long at all to find this.
Am I seriously gonna fall out of the jrock fandom for kpop...? I mean, I love both fandoms, but it's seriously hard for me to love two fandoms at the same time.

I always wonder about people like this. I LOVE THE FANDOM. Really? You like the people who like stuff? Eh, I love Final Fantasy but the other fans of Final Fantasy are pretty much the biggest group of assholes imaginable outside of a Nazi rally.
Also yes, it is very trying to listen to Korean and Japanese music at the same time. In fact, I'd wager listening to any two songs at the same time would just be a lot of noise.
Or wait, no, she just loves two fandoms at the same time. Who gives a shit? Is it really that hard to keep generiJapanese music straight? Japan is going through the same transition American music did (to complete shit, that is) a few years ago: everything is a Dir en Grey (which itself is equivalent to Linkin Park in terms of emo faggotry) clone.
Okaaaiz. So earlier today I discovered the Livejournal app for the iPod Touchie.
:|

You can learn a lot about someone from the music they listen to. Here's the game: hit shuffle on your music player, and write down the first 25 songs that come up.

Seems overzealous to do this 25 times, so I'm just going to do it once and we'll compare our number ones.
I got Twisted Sister, what'd you get?
9th Revolver - Alice Nine
Ha, ha you suck I win holy shit
Anyone know what that is, even?
Let's see--Are they girls?
No--Wait I have a visual to go with this:Now there's a post so incredibly horrific my skeleton almost jumped clear out of my skin to escape the embarrassment of having to read it.
I'm not going to reproduce it here because my font would go APESHIT and I'd never be able to fix it, but if you want to experience what it's like being a skin bag filled with guts and blood, you can check it out here.
Hm... This makes me sound like a nerd/geek/nerdy-geek, right...? Like I study 24/7 so I can get good grades. But the truth is that... I don't ever study... I barely even study for tests... LOL. ( ̄□ ̄;)
Seriously the entire post is XD and THOSE FUCKING EMOTICONS.

Name twelve of your favorite Jrockers :
I'm going to modify this exercise and try to just name 12.
...
...
...
...
...
Uhh...
Well, good thing my grade in Japanese class doesn't revolve around pop culture.
Hm... I've realized, I don't fangirl enough on my lj... How strange.

Sounds like a trip to the Tylenol cabinet for me after this post.

2000 - I was 4. Still innocent. I everyday at recess,

So that makes you... 14.
OHHHHH.
That's why you're so annoying. All right.
01. I've come to realize that my butt: has been touched by various people.... Seriously. LOL

LOL XD holy shit.

Have you ever gotten that feeling when you wondered why you are born? Like you are the total waste on this beautiful planet filled with amazing people?

>planet filled with amazing people
What, are you from Mars or something?
And you are only making this world worse because you existed? Heh. I feel like this every single second.

Well you're certainly making my world worse currently.
Me : " I wonder what Kanon tastes like..."

My friend #1 : "OHHHH~~~"

My friend #2 : " Thinking dirty again, eh?"

Me : *Suddenly realized what I had just said... and RUNS AWAY LIKE A TURTLE IN PAIN while dying inside of mixed feelings

Cool it, girl. I'm going to get a hose, Jesus Christ.
OMG GUESS WHAT PEOPLE???
THIS IS MY FIRST ENTRY ON MY OWN LIVEJOURNAL!!!!
I'm so proud of myself. (?)

What? What? I'm done?
Man I wish school were this easy. WELL WE'RE DONE EARLY I GUESS YOU CAN GET STARTED ON UNCLE TOM'S CABIN (I'm only 50 pages in now, jinkies!)
Somehow I'm two books a head in Paradise Lost because of Uncle Tom's Cabin. I'm not sure how that happened. I guess because Paradise Lost was still work to sit there and read it I feel justified in not reading Uncle Tom's Cabin because look how far I am in Paradise Lost now.

Huuuuuuuuurrrrrrrr

Today is March 8th. Tomorrow is March 9th, and that means Final Fantasy XIII comes out. I'd say I'm excited, but I don't think what I'm feeling is excitement. Concern, perhaps. I mean I've heard a lot of shit about it. There's practically no world map (unless you count a straight line as a map), there are 15000000 cutscenes per square inch of world (not an uncommon trait in Final Fantasy, not sure why this is a criticism). When I heard this I thought it might be okay. Final Fantasy X had all that shit it and it was still a great game, obnoxious male and female lead notwithstanding.
But then I heard it. The magic silver bullet to every Final Fantasy ever: time travel. Time travel does not mix with Final Fantasy. Every time they try it comes off incredibly fucking dumb. Look at FFVIII.
Speaking of incredibly fucking dumb (smooth transition): Sweet and Lovely.

Gragh. I'm currently writing/planning about a hundred different stories. Well, with one of them, I've been planning to have Liza, my main character, fall in love with Lionel, the male lead.

Wow a love story where two people fall in love. How original.
Well, I've suddenly lost interest in getting the two together, not because I don't like Lionel, but because I've just introduced his best friend into the story, and now part of me really would like Liza to fall in love with him instead.

Maybe Lionel can still love Liza (usually a bad idea to have your two main characters with same-y names, but whatever) while she still wants the best friend. Maybe the best friend can turn out to be a total dick. Lionel comes to hate both. Maybe the best friend can wrongfully accuse Lionel of treachery, landing Lionel in a 19th century French dungeon.
Then Lionel can escape with the help of a priest accused of being a supporter of Napoleon (sort of like Lionel was) after learning all of the Priest's worldly skills (which were ample). Then, so changed by his experience, he can integrate himself back into the same society as someone else to exact vengeance on those who wronged him.
Ha, ha, just kidding this book already exists.
Of course in that book Dante's chick didn't marry Danglars (one of the men who wrongfully accused him) but one of her cousins (ew) but whatever basically the same shit.
But keep aiming for the stars, kid. I'm sure it'll work out fantastic.

This year I'm trying to set myself a personal goal for each month, whether it be something educational and improving, or totally fun and frivolous.

Sounds like it'd backfire. I'd just set my goal every month to be "this month I promise not to make any more goals for myself" but maybe you have more willpower than me.

However, I don't know what to do this month. I don't even really have any ideas. So I thought I might turn to you all for suggestions. What do you think I should do for March?

Oh, oh I have a good one: kill yourself.
Now here's her list of favorite names. I really give a fuck.
Caroline
Isabelle
Sabriel

Sabriel?
Also everyone knows the three best girl names are Cecilia, Edie and Chloe.
Leon
Aubrey
Owen
Haakon

Aubrey? Haakon?
Seriously, Haakon?
Sounds like someone I might be fighting in a Dawn of War game.
Pathfinder Haakon.
Tycho
Gabriel

Oh my God it is Dawn of War. Brother-Captain Erasmus Tycho of the Blood Angels III company and Captain Gabriel Angelos of the Blood Ravens III company.
Gareth

Isn't he from Mass Effect?
No wait that's Garrus, sorry.

Man, this was like THE week for wierd dreams.

Tuesday I ran into Cyndi Lauper on the street and started chatting with her.

Wierd. I guess I should cut her some slack because schools beat the whole "i before e except after c" into your head (the one grammar concept they still seem to give a fuck about) and it happens to be wrong on many common words. Bang-up job all around.
Thursday's dream was really unpleasant, especially at one point when the gang was trying to lure me out by threatening a little girl.

I had that dream once.
Then I realized I was a bear and mauled them to death.
Fuck yeah.

Now, FFVIII is my favorite video game barr none.

See? Only annoying cunts even like Final Fantasy VIII.

It is difficult to explain just how important it is to me, and how much impact it had on me when I was growing up. It is to me what FFVII is to everyone else.

No fuck that noise: Final Fantasy Tactics is clearly the greatest Final Fantasy ever made and if you disagree you are provably wrong.
Shame about all that other shit it spawned.
I kid, XII was pretty good. Of course it didn't have a quarter of the plot Tactics had.
Oh and the characters weren't nearly as deep or compelling.
Oh and the music kind of sucked.
Oh and it played like a watered down version of XI-- wait, why do I play these games? I should just replay Tactics.

And for quite awhile now I have secretly known I want to dance to "Waltz for the Moon" at my wedding, should I ever have one. Well, as I watched everyone dancing, to that song, in that setting, I was so moved I had to blink away tears.

Hurrrrrrrr
Stand back, pussies, and get ready for some real music.
You could sit back and sip brandy or some classy shit while this is playing.
Last night I decided on my New Year's Resolutions.
1. Live posatively.

1a. Learn to spell "positively" (brotip: there's no 'a' in it)
7. Improve my looks. (Lose weight. Get contacts. Decide on hair style.)

8. Get a good, regular job.

9. Start lolita video blog.

>Lolita video blog
Pretty sure that's illegal.
Well anyway I have shit to do (by which I mean play Pokemon. Fuck yes, Spring Break).

Back in old country

People are bitching about the weather today. Back in the old country of Maryland this cold mist and overcast would make for a good beach day.
Here's your triweekly douchebaggery injection.
I "slept in" a little bit today for the first time in ages.

You have to understand though that "sleep in" for me is anything past 8:30 in the morning these days -_-; I woke up at around 10:05 this morning xD

xD

I don't have class today because it's Veteran's Day.

Yeah well I did, so enjoy getting to sleep in (just kidding my classes start late I always get to sleep later than 8:30 enjoy being in high school :3)
Now there's a link to another blog. She has two blogs? I don't see-- oh, oh okay. All right, you.
Hold on, let me sort this out.
Okay yeah let's upgrade blogs. I don't know what I mean by "upgrade" but whatever.
I question why you need two blogs that are basically based around the exact same theme (I.E. your life) but I guess if my life was so scary filled with content such as TODAY I HANDED OUT CANDY TO TRICK OR TREATERS then I guess I'd need two blogs too.
The weekend was pretty meh I guess. Friday was fun as I got to chill with my boyfriend, but Saturday and Sunday seemed kind of slow x_x; Especially yesterday!

See, girls in my class that fret about advertising creating an unrealistic expectation of women? Even space mutant anime fans can find true love. It's somewhere out there, I assure you!
Ha, ha now she talks about all her textbook reading for school. I've been hearing about that a lot lately and it never dawned on me that people actually read their textbooks in high school. I sure as fuck didn't.
Any time an assignment starts with "it's optional but..." or "you might like to..." that's an automatic "uhh, no" from me.
Although I guess if you were so painfully "just adequate" that you'd have to do that to stay on top then go for it, but meanwhile in geniusville it feels good.
music: WILD: 安室奈美恵 (Amuro Namie)

Yeah thanks for that. I'm actually literate, surprisingly. I should be able to spell the name of my wife, anyway. That's right I'm married to a celebrity. Didn't you know? Well that's understandable because she doesn't actually know but whatever, we're married. None of this "mai waifu" weeaboo shit, she's my actual wife.

I'm taking US History I (which has been pretty snoozefest so far...

Oh what, because it's not Japanese history suddenly it's boring?
No I'm just breaking your balls. American history is really boring until WW1.
Holy crap, Michael Jackson AND Ferrah Faucet died today.

WHAT!? WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN!?
Oh June 25. Well that sure is embarrassing.
And, uhh, that's it I think. No more blog-- hmm.
So, how about that-- baseball team that won the World Series-- the Yankees? Yeah that was-- a lot of TV I didn't watch. Yep.
Time to pack it up I think.

Get drunk, find a gun

So whatever today's blogger brings is immediately trumped by my superior achievements: I beat red mage Maat (went 1/1 awww yeah), got Sky access and got to level 71. All I have to do is print a picture depicting these three achievements on one screen (cut and paste job I assume) and it's basically a "get laid instantly by any girl ever" card. Yeah I totally beat the fuck out of Maat. Bitch didn't see the 390 damage Aero III coming his way until he was already battered by gale force winds.
So whatever, Magi_Sammy.
So here's her biography:

...is owned by a cosplayer/artist/writer/actress who WILL talk about her life most of the time, sometimes (admittedly) whine and complain, but more often then not post fun/amusing stuff.

Ha, ha everyone fancies themselves an artist, writer and actor, don't they? I know I've said this before but this just further proves it.
As I've admonished before, just because you write does not make you a writer.

I finally finished one full season (62 episodes) and the first movie of One Piece.

Cool. How does it feel being 12 trapped in an adult body?
Durrr, awesome pirates are awesome.

Eaaaaaaaaaaaasy. I'll be WATCHING you. Scum.
Cosplay bunnies are biting, as always. But right now, I can't decide between Luffy and Sanji. They're both my favorites. Luffy for being just a ridiuculously adorable retard/amazing badass all at the same time. Sanji for being a cancer-stick chewing smooth criminal. ;^; Durr help f-list? DECIDE MY FATE, plz?

I'll decide your fate: kill yourself.
Now there's pictures from an anime expo which is about as embarrassing as it sounds, way to dress up in costume.
I just got another one of those "durrr UR COSTUME IS SO GOOODD. I need to no how to meke it!!11 Tell me!"

Please take the compliment. Let's not make a production out of this, please.
Here, I'll set up a situation for practice:
"hey way to be an awesome red mage for going 1/1 on Maat!"
"Thanks. It is awesome!"
There you go. No false modesty.

I guess I'm at the end of my rope with these questions because I just PMed this person back and said "It's actually rude to message someone with that question."

"Actually upon closer inspection your costume is shit. I'm glad you didn't mail me directions because I wouldn't want to think you wasted all that time typing shit no one will ever use."
Would be my response.
D8 GOD. Whatever happened to trial and error? Do people need step-by-step tutorials for everything nowadays?

Yeah and back in my day no one knew how to paint Warhammer figures. Now they do, and people can learn from the techniques of the successful. Oh, what, ever have trouble in school? You're sure fucking lucky no teacher or fellow student said "HEY TRIAL AND ERROR, ASSHOLE!"
Goddamn I hope you get irrevocably stuck in something and no one will help your conceited ass.
Also, reading comprehension: they didn't ask for step by step directions, they just asked how you did it, so something like "oh here's kind of what I tried:" would have sufficed.
I guess if you don't want people to comment on shit you do DON'T SHOW OTHER PEOPLE.
Goddamn I hate people like you. Posting shit and expect nothing but ego stroking sycophancy.
My Mom is trying to tell me that graphic novels are pointless pieces of shit. :/

Tell your mom to go fuck herself. Pretty much all forms of entertainment are technically pointless but enjoying life is kind of what makes life fun.
And yes, 99% of comics (comics) are devoid of any artistic/literary merit. That doesn't keep Fist of the North Star from being totally awesome, though.
God, when I found out Farrah died, that was hard enough. Then Michael Jackson? It's just like...what? Is it possible? Can these people actually die?

Yes. As evidenced by the fact that they did die.
Oh and...

OOH. AAH. YOU WISH YOU WERE A SENIOR!!

I'm already in college, sweetie.
So her costume schedule for an anime convention (can't believe I just said that) includes Sailor Venus (ha, ha but you'd have to be pretty for that!)
Now here's a post entitled "omigosh i suck" which is true.
A dress that fit me perfectly in August is now tight on me.

Just great.

:3
Eating too many cupcakes, fattie?
Unfortunately, I didn't get into UCLA. :/ But I sorta expected it. I mean, they accept maybe 90 people for the Theater Major

>theater major
Ha, ha, oh you. Majoring in something that'll get you a job, I see.
But I didn't really like their program very much, so I'm fine with it. It sucks to get rejected always, but I'm not horribly upset about it...

That's the spirit. Didn't accept me? FUCK YOU I DIDN'T WANT TO GO ANYWAY ;_;

Just about an hour ago, my mother called one of my friends a "loser who needs to get a life."

Ha, ha siiiiiiiiiiiiick.

She then proceeded to get pissy and say that she was "tired of this abuse."

Troll who can't take trolling on the rebound. SHE IS SMALLTIME.

I'm so tired of this. I need to get out of this house. I can't stand my mother's hissy fits and my father's passivity a moment later. That's right -- Dad heard ALL of this and didn't say a word.

Your dad is a smart man.
I would've preferred him backing up Mom rather than just sitting there like a fucking lump. But Dad hates confrontation. And it drives me insane.

Choosing sides between his wife and his daughter. Seems reasonable to me. Really he should have stepped in and called you both cunts, but hey, what can you do?
"Soon, you'll be in college, and you won't have to see me every day, and I bet you'll be really happy about that, won't you?!"

She probably is just getting that, what's it, empty nest shit.
So I guess I'll just post a piece of writing I threw together for the literary magazine at school and get some feedback from the writers/editors on my LJ.

All right.
Juliette Blanders was a girl who deserved everything in the world, of that I was positive. I’d never met a woman with more talent, more charisma, or more intelligence than Juliette. But from the way I describe her, you might think her nothing but an individual blessed with desirable qualities.

So I might. Actually I was just musing how long until this turned cliched, and I'm counting on it next paragraph.

On the contrary, Juliette was a developed sort-of creature, only making her more exquisite.

What? Just delete this sentence. It adds nothing and makes no sense.
From everything I’ve said, you might think I was in love with the nearly perfect Miss Blanders. But, strangely enough and for reasons that even I cannot explain, I was never attracted to Juliette in that way. I didn’t love her – I appreciated her – a vastly different emotion.

Oh oh shit just had a big yawn. Sorry. What were you saying?
Our flats were right across the street from one another, and thus, our visits were frequent. Sometimes, after a particularly tiring day, Juliette would bring over her Chemistry texts and enough tea to last us through the night.

Ah yes the popular passtime in England of "reading chemistry books".
I would provide the red plush couch that always smelled new – as if it had retained the odor of the store I had purchased it from; we would sit on it together, a friendly distance apart.

Good grief, do you really have no filter on what goes to your story? IT SMELLED NEW, YOU KNOW LIKE IT STILL SMELLED LIKE THE STORE I BOUGHT IT-- yeah I fucking got it. I'm not a complete waterhead.
Wow imagine a girl about to graduate school is writing a story about a girl graduating from school. That's-- that's quite a stretch.
“It’s all rubbish anyway,” she would sigh, throwing her textbook on the coffee table in a public display of her surrender.

IT'S RUBBISH AND I'M BRI'ISH. FLAT, RUBBISH, QUITE.
“Charlie,” she would say, her voice sweet, as if she were glowing with curiosity, “what do you think life’s going to reward you?”

Oh high school kids~
Ha, ha burn on comments:

The net effect, to me, is a bit pretentious. Were you striving for that?

High five, battle brother.
The writing is good though I'm unclear of the overall tone. Is it a comedy or a drama or a romance?

Whoa easy, chief. There clearly is no thought given to tone or meaning or actual plot or anything. It's just a dialog-laden vignette. I'm not even sure you could, in good faith, call this a short story since there's literally no plot.
It's two characters talking about shit. Poorly. So it's basically like my best seller Twilight, only not fifteen trillion pages.
He bagged my book and told me to have a "really great day" but I didn't really want to let it end there. I introduced myself and he told me his name too and we shook hands and stuff.

I don't know, maybe I'm reading WAY too much into it.

A cashier telling you to have a great day? I don't know, sister, he probably wants to marry you.
Dope.

I developed Cellulitis in my face (a complication of the flu).

Praise be to Nemesis, she who punishes the vainglorious. This is preemptive punishment for the bullshit you pulled later with your costume comment hi jinx.
;( I'm alive, I promise! And if you haven't gotten your flue vaccine GET ONE. GET ONE NOW. THIS SECOND. STOP READING LJ AND GO GET VACCINATED! YOU WILL THANK YOURSELF LATER.

I get a flu shot every year but thanks for the protip, pox-face.
I don't really like the Homecoming Dance -- last year the music sorta failed epically. All generic rap and hip hop. I'll just have fun with my friends for three hours.

Imagine. A high school dance having shit music.

I told her, "I think you just don't want me to go away!"

I'm guessing you are the only child or youngest. Also nothing gets by you, sleuth.
"Well of course I don't!" in this voice that read "I have every right to impose what I want on your future".

Ha, ha wow. Sure is adding meaning that isn't necessarily there. You're going to look back on this period of your life in about six months and regret this.
Let me go where I want to go! I'm sorry if you're sad that your last child is leaving home, but I can't sacrifice what I want to spare your feelings!

Yes 10,000 points for me!
I saw that coming.
Youngest child.
Also yeah your mom probably wants you to live your life and shit but you could be a little nicer about it, okay.
You're right. I'll do that. Some concrete evidence will convince Mom that the programs aren't the same.

Glad to see your friends aren't complete dopes.
Well I guess it's time to wrap this up. In conclusion, you're all right, kid. You better fucking check yourself, though. You're peering over the dangerous precipice that is the life of an eternal cunt.

Fantastic.

So Japan. That long string of islands situated on the Pacific Ocean? Well let me tell you: Japanese people don't speak English. Also they have different cultural values than Americans. Or Europeans. Also Americans (and Europeans) might not agree with these values.
There you go I just described today's blog. I guess I don't really have to review it now so good bye-- oh all right I will. Absinthegaijin (doesn't make any more sense in English I assure you).
Absinthe is some sort of drug made out of wormwood and alcohol and a gaijin is a foreigner so go figure that out.
Had to go to the supermarket today at a truly obscene hour, midnight. For any spoiled Americans who might actually read this, did you know you have to bag your own groceries here?

OH MY GOODNESS THEY'RE LIVING IN THE DARK AGES!
Some scary old Japanese guy stopped his car right next to where I was walking and kept asking if I wanted a ride, I had to plead ignorance and go all doe-eyed dumb foreigner Me no understandy Japanesey on him. Thank goodness that tactic works.

Works in America too. If I don't want to deal with people I just pretend to be German.
Unfortunately the only German I know was either retained from high school or I learned it on the show Combat!, so I usually end up sounding like a Nazi.

Stopping your car by the side of the road, asking an adult woman to get in your car? That's serial killer creepy, my friend. LOL I half expected him to at least try to lure me with candy.

Well I'm certainly glad you're amused by your story because I'm bored shitless.
Just remember, never act confrontational or yell out police, tasukete or dameda, this will only encourage them.

Personally I'd yell IF YOU STRIKE ME DOWN I SHALL BECOME MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE!
"No, you're being completely inappropriate." Chances are that should be enough to make any scary guy here go away.

Ha, ha great brotip to throw off serial rapists. "This sexual molestation is very inappropriate!" Goddamn my tips are better than you and I'm not even being serious. I'm being positively ZANY!
I don't really have to do this kind of stuff very often, though, Japan's pretty safe most of the time. If all else fails, I'm pretty sure I could win in a fight, drunk or sober.

Yeah you sound like you could win a fight. You sound like you're still a little bit panicked simply retelling it. I think that's a good way to win a fight: be really fucking panicked when it happens.
Guns are illegal in Japan so he likely doesn't have one, so that leaves a manly altercation: fists. Come on, keep your head together and you can win this. Remember, a fistfight isn't about who is strongest but who can strike fastest!
It's never gotten to that point, though. Just mildly frightening events, nothing worth writing about. Tonight was the first time someone actually scared me a little.

Well by your description Japan is a terrifying, Lovecraftian realm of demons waiting to rape you with baseball bat penises. Maybe it's because I'm a guy and all I have to fear is dying (naw dawg that ain't me) from criminals instead of being raped and scarred forever probably.
Wow that was kind of a downer.
Happier things................

Yes, captain ellipsis, let's think happy thoughts. So she's going to meet some guy and who gives a shit. You were more interesting when you were warding off rapists by telling them they were inappropriate.

I understand why he lets me talk, he's so shy. I wonder why Japanese people are so embarrassed to speak English in front of you? I always wonder about that..................

It's simple: they're ashamed of their accent/poor grammar. It's perfectly reasonable, and I'm ashamed for a lot of people who have shit grammar in their own fucking language, especially when they're talking to people who speak English as a second or even third language (who frequently manage better grammar skills than the idiot with whom they're talking).
In fact I've known Japanese people who understand English so well they're practically fluent but still refuse to speak in English. Usually you just talk to them in English and they respond in Japanese and as long as both parties know both languages it's no big deal.
Do they think we're all culture snobs who laugh at their linguistic mistakes behind their backs or make fun of their pronunciations when we're at home?

Most people I've encountered don't know you drop the "e" at the end of a verb when making it an active (-ing) verb, so no. No we are not as a people.
If that wasn't the case I might be introducing myself as watashi wa (name) desu with the u as opposed to the actual pronunciation where the u is silent.

A real pro at Japanese probably would exclude "watashi wa" as that's implied but we're getting off track.
The English language is a mess of useless silent letters and weird quirks. On that note, I can't believe those wacky Brits are getting rid of teaching i before e except after c ! Sad........

Because it's a bad idea with as many exceptions as there are words that follow it, so teaching kids it's a rule is confusing when they run into even elementary words that don't follow it like "weird".
Meanwhile in England they also teach kids that an ellipsis is three dots (...) instead of however many you can fit until you get bored and stop holding the period key down. Putz.
He took me to an American style bar here in my neighborhood ( I think he knows my neighborhood better than I do) and we talked forever. I still think he let me talk too much, but he said he didn't mind......... I always wonder about that, though.

I find your choice of words interesting. He "let you talk" as opposed to what I would naturally assume, "he listened".
Japanese people are so.....well, they call it polite. Where I'm from, we call it being waaaay too nice.

Well you're not in America anymore.

I guess I'm worried I was just as uninteresting and annoying as I felt, talking all the time.

You are. I'm not too shy (hush, hush) or whatever you want to call it to say it.
Sigh.........hazukashii eigo, I guess. So cute, so shy, so likable.

UGUUUUUUU.
He likes cats, actually has a cat, laughs at my jokes, can't cook and has a mystery job. I guess he's a little strange, too, but I like him. Strange or not, I like his company. Besides, I'm a little quirky myself.

I kind of wonder about his mystery job, though.............
Oh my no he's probably a spy or an assassin or something.

Sounds like a WACKY ROMANTIC COMEDY ANIMU/MANGO if I've ever heard one.
He's trying to hold a steady job as a yakuza hitman while romancing a woman! An American woman (ooo)! How will he balance his career as a hitman, his soul eternally pledged to Ares in the name of bloodshed and slaughter (whoa turn for the violent) and his romantic life?
I'd watch this. Especially if Ares is in it.
So yeah.....mystery job. What does he do? I wouldn't really care, but since I don't know, I really wonder.............. Man, I really hope it's not illegal or unethical. I doubt he's a gangster, he doesn't look the type..............

:3

I'm off to Kichijoji, reviews forthcoming

Sounds familiar. Didn't half of Shin Megami Tensei 3 take place there?
Saw a lovely image that made me a little nauseous.

Some J-pop star Gackt in a SS uniform.

Ha, ha I didn't know that fagort Gackt had that level of troll in him.
Do you have to be stupid to be shocking nowadays? Can't you do something besides wear the uniform of someone who tried to commit genocide against whole groups of people (the Jewish, the homosexuals, etc.)

Well it was either that or the KKK uniform.
So now this blog, as if it needed more of it, takes a turn for the Freudian. Let's put on our psychology hats.

I want a Japanese wife to make me bento lunches.

All right. Nothing wrong there I suppose. I'd say it's a little strange since you proclaim to be a heterosexual woman but whatever.

I know it''s an impossible dream.

No, also apparently she's serious because if this were a joke it would have ended before now. Presumably, anyway. I mean I know she sucks at sarcasm or comedic timing but I have difficulty imagining she's this inept from what I've seen thus far.
I want it anyway. I want little nori cut out hearts on top of rice, I want radishes carved into flowers, I want a cute little lunch full of love.

All right now it's getting Freudian. She cleverly hides this weird pseudolesbian (that's a word) fantasy by saying this:

I want to stop eating Kombini and restaurant food.

but that makes it even more suspect in my mind.
I DON'T ACTUALLY WANT TO BANG JAPANESE WOMEN (not faulting you there I might add) I JUST CRAVE HUMAN CONTACT AND ALSO FOOD PREPARED BY PEOPLE I KNOW :( wouldn't this be more framed around, I don't know, finding a boyfriend or something if that were the case?
Yeah, occasionally I cook, but not like that. That is crazy anal-retentive food made by perfect people with too much time on their hands.
Japanese housewives. Man, I want one.

All right finally we get to it. There it is: "perfect people". There are, of course, any number of ways to analyze this entire fantasy, but here's what I believe to be the actuality of her subconscious in this case:
Firstly I'd like to note that her view of "perfect people" isn't the common weeaboo archetype of Japanese people as a whole, or even all Japanese women: it's specifically Japanese housewives.
Also this goes beyond preferential mate choice of "I'd prefer to marry a Japanese woman," specifically or "I'd prefer to marry an Asian woman" in general. This fantasy seems wholly self contained and married to a culture she is part of, but not native to, that I suspect this fantasy wouldn't work with a woman of any other ethnic identity. This is noted particularly in her vocabulary choice: nori has a perfectly working word in English (seaweed), but she opted not to use it, ostensibly to bridge the gap between fantasy and reality.
Secondly this fantasy seems divorced from sexual connotations. There is love, but it seems more platonic, even philial, than romantic.
So, in the interest of not running this into the ground, I'd like to propose that she wants to be the Japanese housewives and that last sentence would probably do better with word "be" (as in "I want to be one"). Of course, knowing this is impossible as she, no matter how ingrained into the culture, will never be Japanese (hence the degredation of "I can't cook like that"), so we have a simple projection fantasy where she desires to be with herself in another form.
And there's my master thesis. I have entitled it: "female weeaboos in the wilds of the internet and the projection of persona".
So how about that? Come for the jokes, stay for the amateur essays on psychology.

All right we need to talk

Japanese. Cut it out. We're finished here. Unless you are fluent I don't want to hear from you on the matter, even if it you are quoting native speakers, because usually you don't know where to start and stop quoting, so you get these bizarre half thoughts.
So here we have Kayluuuh's (Kayla I'm going to assume) journal.
The quote above her post's meaning has eluded me for the past fifteen minutes, despite even breaking out the dictionary and trying to piece it together. Well, given the context of her blog (GIRUGAMESH IS A SHITTY BAND AND YOU SHOULD FEEL SHITTY FOR LIKING THEM) it's entirely possible it's a stanza from one of their fantastic songs, in which case I'm an asshole for questioning the artistery of Girugamesh. It's Gilgamesh, guys. I know you don't have an "l" or much in the way of consonant clusters, but come on.
He's being so aggravating
It's my fucking money and I NEVER have money
FUCKKKKK
I'm buying Shoxx whether he likes me or not

And he's making me pay $89 on my phone bill cause AT&T sucks ass and doesn't tell you theres a charge for extracting data
That's retarded
So I can kiss that goodbye
I already feel like I have no money

Well as they say, "money is to be celebrated when in hand, not mourned when lost."
I bought that game for five bucks a couple of days ago and I started playing it yesterday
And holy shit that game is freaky
Usually survival horror games don't scare me
Well, Silent Hill and Siren kind of do but not really

Girls playing vidya gayms. "That game" refers to Clock Tower III. Also I like how she says "survival horror games don't scare me" then proceeds to list most of the heavy hitters in the survival horror genre anymore. Good work.
When your investigating and shit, they pop out of no where screaming "ALYSSA" or "I FOUND YOU" and crap like that
It scares the shit outta me
I almost shit my pants about fifty times last night

They're in a fucking video game they can't actually hurt you.
WATCH THIS and you'll see what I mean XD
(maybe I'm just a pussy)

There you go. Let's see--
Yeah you're a pussy.
It was pretty intense and awesome XD
AKSLJSLKDJSD FOUND IT

Fuck.
I'll tell you what's intense: how much of a douche you are.
I graduated from high school a little while ago
NOW I'MMA GO GET CRUNK

Kill yourself.
....I'll find something nice-ish and wear it both nights cause frankly, I don't care
I'm waaaaay to tired

Glad to see you're graduating high school and don't know the difference between "you're" and "your" (yeah I caught that) and "to" "too" and I'm going to assume "two" even though I have yet to see you use it.
It's my last day of "classes" today but I have to come to school all next week (save for memorial day and friday)
For finals and even after that so I don't n out of anything
I'm going to bomb three out of my four finals :D
Latin, Math, and English

Gee imagine you failing English and Latin. So far your language prowess has impressed the hell out of me.
My nose is all stuffed so I sound like an idiot when I talk
askdjhajksda d
I wanna go home
But I have to wait an hour TT_TT

I hope all my asshole friends are having fun sleeping while I suffer

I hope they're sleeping like babies knowing you're suffering.
This guy in the beginning of one of the many Ayumu dvds looks JUST LIKE HIM
Save for the fact that this dude has wicked gay tattoos
While Kaoru is like OMG HADOCOA DESU

>OMG HADOCOA DESU
>OMG HADOCOA DESUNow there's a long post about a dream she had that's debatably the dumbest thing I've read in recent memory (that's saying something).
Dude, I was talking to some chick on dA about Dir en grey
And I asked what her favorite album was
And she said "Withering to Death"

... I can't believe I'm reading this. If I could time travel ten years ago I'd love to ask myself where I saw myself in ten years. I bet I wouldn't pick something SO FUCKING PATHETIC.
I can't decide what's worse. The fact that she decided to commit this to posterity or the fact that I'm sitting here reading it. Even if it is to goof on her the joke is still kind of on me because I'm taking time to do this. I could be doing ANYTHING right now.
LOLWUT!?
Uhm yeah
No
Definately not
Don't get me wrong, I love WtD like I love all their albums buts it's DEFINATELY NOT their best

Oh hey guess what something subjective like taste in music can't be wrong.
Except, of course, for liking Dir en Grey. You can be wrong for doing that.
Kisou is
Without a doubt
Disagree and I will smite thee D<

I'd like to see you fucking try. Put your (what is assuredly) prodigious weight into it and I'm sure I'd be in trouble.
Ahh I'm above that joke. Fat people jokes, really, me?
WHY DOES EVERY ASIAN MALE REMIND ME OF G
AY PORN STARS NOW!? ;_____;

That's because you're subtly racist and think all Asians look the same.
Nice try, Hitler. You're not getting past me.
This kid in my gym class reminds me of this gay porn star Ayumu
So every time I see him I see gay porn in my head
He's making things very difficult XD

Of course knowing gay porn stars implies...
Eww fat girl masturbating to gay porn.

MY PHONE WAS FUCKING STOLEN
SO NOW I NEED A NEW ONE
AND MY DAD IS MAKING ME FEEL LIKE AN ASSHOLE

No one can "make" you feel anything. You feel like an asshole because guess what?
Now here's a post entitled "JAPANESE PORN IS EXPEEEENSIVE :o"
reading this.
10,500 yen for School Days 3
wtf Go Guy Plus!?
...not that I would have payed for it anyways
But srsly that's a lot

Then again I don't know how much American porn costs

10,500 yen is about 105 US dollars. I don't even know what to say to this.
Aaaaand I thought Ayumu quit
But I was just on the website and there was a post from yesterday or something and Ayumu was on it
I guess once in the gay porn buisness, always in the gay porn buisness amirite?

"from yesterday or something" because you most assuredly can't read the difference.
(brotip: yesterday looks like this: 昨日)
Oh since you can't read that either just remember it's two boxes stacked on top of each other next to the letter E with some shit around it next to two bigger boxes stacked on top of each other. It's read as "kinou" but I doubt you'll commit it to memory because it's not a cute weeaboo word so don't worry about it.
Should I go to school tomorrow?

I really don't want to go to pre-cal or creative writng :/
And it's gonna be SO NICE OUT

BET YOU REGRET THAT NOW, HUH, MRS. "I'M FAILING ALL MY CLASSES"?
I always feel like a bubble head nurse or pyramid head are gonna come out of no where and kill me
Likely to happen considering they're both video game characters.
Why am I such a boring person?
Everyone always writes about the interesting shit that happens to them
And then my journals are all like
"AHAHA PANCAKES"

I find your posts not only boring but also vaguely disgusting.
Dude the people working on my roof are SO OBNOXIOIUS
Not only is their working loud enough
But their loud singing in Spanish makes it worse
COULD YOU HAVE SOME RESPECT FOR THE PEOP

LE IN THE HOME PLZTHNX!??!

Yes, let's tell them to nail softer for the Japanese princess contained high aloft in her palace.

The cashier even turned to the other girl working there and said "Miru, kawaii ne?"Or something along the lines of that

GAINING ACCEPTANCE FROM PEOPLE YOU DON'T KNOW MOVING UP IN THE WORLD. Well this is boring now. Time to go do something not so fucking shitty~

Good Grief

Here we go.
I think you can see why I picked this blog from the opening title:
At least my vocabulary is expanding XD

lol xD die shittingly.
I find it hilarious that this entire Spring Break, I've been reading fanfics as if I needed them to survive.

Well at least you're amused by you, because I'm certainly not.
And I desperately want to learn Korean and Japanese now. Just ::flail:: I wish I had enough time to learn all the languages I want to in my lifetime.

Wow Korean and Japanese? That's one... TWO entire languages! This task is sheer madness!
One: my birthday is next week. Not during Spring Break but during school. Yippee.

I seem to recall thinking I had something to say here but I just sneezed five times in a row and I guess the pressure damaged my brain because I don't remember what I was thinking.
Yesterday, well two days ago since it's 12:48 am (OMG IT'S EASTER~), was Good Friday. Our youth group held a little pantomime show for the church.

I always suspected nothing interesting happened in church. Now I know.
Yesterday (Saturday), I spent the majority of the day just reading fics. I've really gotten into Jaechun. It's quickly becoming up there with Yoosu. I find it funny that I these pairings, which I strongly ship, contain Yoochun, even though he isn't my favorite. Yoosu is good for the fluff and the happiness; Jaechun is just amazing, it's always so deep and written so well, at least the ones I've read have been.

I don't know what half of these words mean.
went to go see Henry V with Wolak and a bunch of other people. It ws awesome! I thought it would be boring because it was a history but it was actually really funny.

>Shakespeare
>good
>funny
I got accepted into the National Honor Society after initially being rejected. And after I found out I was accepted and began walking back to my locker, I began to cry. Luckily, I stuffed my face in my locker. That, and the bell hadn't rung yet. I felt foolish.

PUSSY!
I mean shouldn't one be happy after they've been accepted into NHS? I kept silent. I didn't feel like explaining. I might tomorrow. I don't think they'll understand though.

Yes because you're sooooooooo complicated.

MY LOVE FOR DONG BANG IS TOO GREAT.
>My love for dong bang
And WHY DID THE AWESOMEST WRITER HAVE TO UPDATE NOW WHEN I HAVE TO GO TO SLEEP AND RIGHT WHEN I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF RE-READING SUB ROSA!

>awesomest
You're pushing it.

You're writing kicks ass.

Are you sure you're getting an A in AP Composition? It was a piss easy class but I think you still needed to know the difference between your and you're to pass.
My iPod and wallet were stolen ><>
You got caught cheating, don't add "liar" to your list of critical properties.
I really should start writing in here lol. But I don't know what to say T_T
I fail at keeping journals or anything.

You can put a period on "I fail" and the thought would be complete and accurate.
And I guess to meet other fangirls as spazzy as myself since my friends aren't as spazztastic as me xD

lol xD

OFF TO GO WATCH DONG BANG ON YOUTUBEZ! yay~

>watch dong bang on youtube
>watch dong bang
>watch dong
:3
And that's it. That's her entire blog. I thought there would be more, but mercifully there is not.
Well I'm off to finally succumb to my poisoning.

Dark Times

Off the coat tails of Halloween comes Election Day.
I can do this, I can do this-- okay.
Right away I'm already making an angry face at this blog. What is that in the upper right corner I spy?
Despite it's difficulty, I'm glad I've got the thumbs up to perform it.

"It's" doesn't impl-- fuck it.
When the lesson was over, I took the bus back to the dorms and played for another hour (bringing the grand total to about four hours for those who are counting) before heading to the union for lunch, which I'm eating now. Yay food.

I bet the people that live around you fucking despise you for this. Fuck you shut that claptrap up.
I've got to go to Japanese in twenty minutes, and then I've got to study for the midterm, which I suppose won't be too hard, as it's just memorization.

No, stop! Learning a language involves memorization? Jesus Christ a regular phenom at this, you.
I should really practice my kanji, but who knows how the fuck I'll feel after all this is said and done...

I like how she(?) structures this like "ehh maybe I should practice that I don't know" it's only one of the most difficult parts of Japanese. No big deal shouldn't have to keep up with that.
I think the trick to staying on top of things is going to be forgetting any ideas I might have had about keeping a social life... which is fine, really.

Fuck you what are you doing right now? Cut this shit out and get back to practice and maybe you wouldn't be so goddamn busy. I bet most of your day is filled with frivolous nonsense. I bet if you broke down how many hours you actually spent on kanji it'd be less than, say, ten.
I'm not here too make friends, or play Final Fantasy XI, I'm here to play the shit out of my guitar, and I'm determined not to keep looking like a total fuck-up in front of the whole guitar department.

You could stop playing Final Fantasy XI all together. It's just a second job you have to pay for. That'd be many hours a day freed up.
Also nice use of "too" there. You may not be an embarrassment to the guitar department but you're the laughing stock of the English department.
This may not look like a HUGE classload,

Because it's not. End of thought.
but do keep in mind that I'm trying to practice guitar for 2-3 hours a day and learn piano and another language XD Okay, I'm done.

Oh it does keep going. Nice "XD" there, weeaboo.
Further, you don't have to justify your class choices to me. Sounds like you're trying to convince yourself you're that busy, because if you aren't you really don't have an excuse for being such a huge twat.
Here's what I'd say in my situation: "yeah what little work I do have is mitigated by my immense genius. It's pretty fucking great to be me, actually."
Her next entry is entitled:

some weabooisms are absolutely unforgivable.

Which is really funny because I was thinking of titling this entry that.
Piano fundimentals was fun.

Fundamentals.
Japanese was... well, a bit tough XD You know when your teacher makes you do that super awkward "Getting to know you" bullshit that nobody likes, and it really couldn't get any worse? Now try doing it in a language you don't know XD Frustration ensues. I do have an EXTREMELY amusing anicdote, however.

Anicdotes, huh? Is that any relation to anecdotes? This is what gets me at every language class I've ever taken (which has been a few). How can people who don't even speak English properly possibly learn another lanuage? In this case it's one that doesn't even use the Roman alphabet.
Well maybe that would be to her benefit, but my point stands.
Here's the thing, though. If this was Japanese she'd have exacted this shit. I wouldn't be pointing out "it's actually fundamental and anecdote" because she'd have nailed it.
Goddamn weeaboos.
College is so hard. Somebody, anyone, please come to Milwaukee and put a bullet or two inside of me right the fuck now. I'll pay.

Yeah being a music major must be real fucking difficult. I drive past your ilk on a daily basis to my bombed out English building that doesn't even have proper lighting. Right past the domed edifice of Collegic Gothic construction that is the music department, past all the bescarved bards, and I think "wow those are people who lead difficult lives." Fuck you, music majors. You're privileged, spoiled fuckwits.
I wouldn't bear a grudge if you people didn't get two new buildings last year. My department can't even claim lightbulbs and you get a concert hall and a practice hall? No, fuck you.
How am I supposed to know which of these circles is the lower note!? I'm not ms. fucking Cleo over here.

Okay I know this one. I've done this before, let me try and remember. What do I do when I don't know something for a class?
I seem to recall there was a series of pages arranged in a linear fashion and bound with a binding-- oh that's right. I READ THE FUCKING TEXTBOOK YOU IDIOT.
dumb post? pretty much.

No, not from you.

all of this semester's tuition is do immedietly.

I haven't been to the University of Milwaukee's webpage, but I have to assume they have 090-level English classes that could get you up to speed.
Crazy eighty page packet thing - about affirmative action. I swear, I'm going to finish reading more undecided than when I started...

Shit you actually do that shit? I just said I lost it the day it was due and no one said anything because I was a senior.
And so once again I'm torn between two polar opposites. What's a romantic such as myself to do? *sigh*

Join the Baroque movement because it's for tough internet space marines such as myself.
So I kinda feel like shit, and I figure, rather than talking directly to a real person, I'd BLOG all my troubles away.

Logic would dictate I should end the entry here to stop a headache, but I won't because I'm fucking stupid.
This morning I was feeling sick when I woke up, but I hate taking time off from school, so I decided to tough it out.

Oh yeah, you, the scholar who not... Five hours later was complaining that she actually had to do homework? Yeah you'd be remiss to actually take a day off.
The day went pretty okay, physically, except every time I eat, it feels like I get hungrier. It's weird, the food I'm eating never seems like the food I need, and ends up looking really disgusting to me, and I feel like I need more and more of something else... (I also spent like a half hour in the bathroom, but I'll spare the details...)

Well I'd say you're pregnant but that can't possibly be unless this is the second coming of Jesus Christ. (Virgin birth joke I think I was going for here sorry I'm annotating this after I finished writing the entry)
My acoustic guitar has broken strings, so I brought along my electric today.

Play Money For Nothing. If you can make it through the entire opening solo with no fuck ups you'd officially be off my shit list.
Let alone how to go about decoding the crazy theory jumble, write it down, and actually play it.

Shit who knew they'd actually expect you to know music in music class?
Besides people who are actually good at instruments don't bother with any of this shit, do they? They just crank out badass guitar riffs and make millions.
Of course then there's the classically trained who appreciate this kind of shit and eventually join symphonies, but I imagine they thrive on just what you're bitching about.
Face it kid, you're not cut out for either life.
I'm actually to the point where I'm sick of listening to music. What the SHIT. I flicked through my iTunes going "lame, lame, lame, lame, lame" like nine times today.

Maybe you should download quality music because I never seem to have this problem.
Margret Cho kicked ASS.
Ha, ha really? That's surprising.

She called Anne Coulter "Kuntakinte" and I was laughing too hard to be offended.

Oh ha, ha. That's cute. No, really. That's... That's a cute joke.
So I've got a shitload of homework. Am I going to do it? Fuck no. Why? Because it's the last semester of my senior year and FUCK SCHOOL ANYWAY, that's why.

Yeah now you get it. Cutting out at noon to watch soap operas and go to the mall.
Well that's it. I'm tired of writing this.

Fack

I've decided on a special SUNDAY UPDATE because I'm bored and it's still five and a half hours until Dexter's on.
The first one I click on threw me right back into Friday, though:
Anyways, we got there and I clambered around doing whatever, briefly spoke to the band's manager, and then went out into the audience to mingle. AND KYO WAS THERE. YES, DIR EN GREY'S KYO. So I walked over to him and started talking to him and telling him how much I loved his lyrics and his music and everything and he was just smiling at me so I gave him this big hug and he hugged back...

Here's me after reading this:
Now you see why I don't do my own art. Also yes I do all of this on an Apple 2 leave me alone.
What is it with these blogs? I didn't know anorexics kept blogs about how much they're not eating, then I run into 50 of them, then it's the Christfags, now it's goddamn Dir En Gray.
What else? It seems to me I can't get any inspiration to write my movie script but... I really need to lol. I'm so behind, lovely.

If it's anything like your blog I'm sure it's an abortion.
Guys, tell me to stop spending money. I just bought an LM.C phone charm, and am about to buy a Kiyoharu poster as soon as I get my check for working the election.

Consume more. It's your duty as an American or something.
12. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go?
Back to Japan!! Or back to Jamaica. Actually Australia would be really cool. Or Pennsylvania to see Piotr.

Japan, Jamaica, Australia and Pennsylvania. One of these things is not like the others.
Monday and yesterday, I stayed home from school because I couldn't walk on my ankle even with the tensor bandage.

Maybe Canada is several centuries behind the rest of the world, but as I understand it there's an invention called crutches you might want to check into.
So basically I'm really sick of being called into work. I would really enjoy a set schedule rather than Lori calling me during third period and leaving a message telling me to come in so that I don't argue or whatever. In theory I could call and be like "No." but then she would get mad.

Also, you'd be fired.
So I have been wondering for ages how people make the (^v^)V face. I was like "Dude, is there an opposite to the ^ thing or what?"

... The letter V you illiterate fuck.

And then I realized it was a V.

If this happened to me no one would know about it. I would take this to my grave.
So I'm hoping my copy of Glass Skin came today.
It's like I'm really making Friday's update!
I feel soooo ronery.

Somehow I doubt you appreciate the full meaning of this sentence but whatever all right I'll roll with it.
Glass Skin: Beautiful. Amazing. I can't even come up with any words to describe it, I almost cried when I first heard it.

All right I have to hear this now goddamn.
That's arguably the most boring song I have ever heard. That was bad and you should feel bad.

Am I just really stupid or what's the deal?

Yes.

Hooked up with a friend Saturday night. A guy friend.

I know where this is going.
To make a long story with several, several digressions short:
On the other hand he was horny and used the fact that I was drunk and have a thing for him to get off. He pressured me and I didn't say no because I probably wanted it just as much as he did. Possibly more. But this could all be attributed to the whole drunk/liking him thing.

Then she offers this golden nugget:
He asked me not to get awkward about it... He established before anything happened that it would be a one time thing and then we would just be friends exactly the same as before.

How is that supposed to work? I don't understand how he can expect me to do something like that.

Followed by this one:

By the way, just so you know, I am still a virgin. Lol.

All right I give up. Is this one of those Zen riddles?
Lol I just went to the bathroom, awesome.

Is this really necessary?
Yeah, the chick who sits behind me in this class baaasically hates me. Oh well hahah, she's really pretty so I suppose I can't blame her.

This is the best logic ever. The noble's disdain-- doesn't want to sully her superior vision with the sight of the peasantry.
I'm really confused about how I feel about people.

Must be hard.
Now she's talking about getting a tattoo in Japanese because hurr.
The first one I am planning is a Dir en grey lyric (Hurrr) with a meaning that I really like [:

No, no I did the "hurr" thing to you. You're not allowed to do it to yourself because you're too douchey to be allowed to use that power. It's reserved for high level internet space marines like myself.
She told me once that she'd rather just stay home and not talk to anyone rather than being around people that she didn't like.

I think that's a hint.

And the fact that I'm really good at english hahaha

Ha, ha, ha no you aren't. If you were you'd know "English" is a proper noun and "anyways" isn't a word.

Mmm, I broke my vow of being uber cheerful all the time lol ;p

Don't take vows you can't keep, scum.

High school is stupid. No one is allowed to be happy in high school unless they are pretty.

Contrary to your "me me me" attitude everyone, except perhaps the football team and the drug dealers, is miserable in high school.

WEEABOOS!

What is a weeaboo, some of you may ask?
A weeaboo is someone who is creepily, annoyingly into anything Japan.
People who like anime aren't necessarily weeaboos, but all weeaboos invariably like anime.
The distinction is the annoying factor, I think.
But how can you tell if someone is annoyingly into Japan?
I have a simple test.
In the following paragraph, one word should set off all alarms:
Wow, I'm tired. My parents dragged me out to the county fair today, and then turned me loose while they volunteered for the gardening association for two hours. And ... *squee* Quilts! Legos! Old photographs! Chickens!

Yes. I'm basing my entire entry around seeing that one word. I'll have to play it by ear now.
I saw a chicken and I wanted to take him home. The feathers on his head were really long and, well, think of Einstein hair on a chicken. He had funky feathers, and it was awesome. I dragged my parents back to see that chicken. I admit, I'm eclectic and weird.

Eclectic. That would be from the Greek exlegein, I think. ex-, which is out, and -legein, meaning to gather.
More specifically, it's someone with an assortment of interests or tastes in something. I think officially it would be defined as "a mixture of philosophies" but that doesn't really help.
More to the point, eclectic is rapidly becoming one of those words. People who don't know many words all independently decided that would be a good word to pepper into their speech, regardless of its actual connotation. What about this situation makes me think "WOW THERE'S SOMEONE WHO'S ECLECTIC, LOL"? Nothing. At all. In fact I'm not even sure I'd use eclectic to define a person.
Why do I point all this out? Firstly because I want everyone to see how smart I am because it makes my balls feel big, and second, this is a common thread with weeaboos. Like furries, goths or emos they pride themselves on being unique snowflakes. Unfortunately being unique doesn't necessarily make you useful, so they quickly latched on to the "eccentric genius" stereotype common with their Japanese cartoons, and indeed all cartoons.
Like all humans on the internet, this particular weeaboo seems to fancy herself an author du jour.
I had a monster of an entry written up about Gambit and its current delay. And then LJ ate it. *grumblegrumblegrowl* The short of it is that ... taking a chapter that's written, and then swapping out one character and hoping that the chapter won't need to be completely rewritten is foolish. As I have discovered the hard way. (read: I've now had to rewrite every scene in the story to accommodate the skewed dynamic)

So she's angry her characters sound unique. Most probably her characters only sound unique to her, because indeed she wrote them.
I should be glad my characters don't swap out so easily, because to me that says I'm doing something right. (Even if, technically, it is one character that's just dressing up as the other people. No, I'm not sure how I'm keeping all the people switching roles around straight either. I am, just don't ask me to explain it .. or at least don't expect it to make sense.)

I love it when what I'm reading makes no sense. It's like trying to solve a maze, but instead of being greeted by a way out I get a headache.
That's one thing I have to say about Gambit: it makes sense when you're reading it, and writing all the personality sleight-of-hand isn't that difficult, but explaining it coherently is impossible.

Sounds like a flimsy excuse for piss-poor writing to me.
However, the most interesting thing I'm experiencing with this chapter is that character interactions change, and change drastically, if you swap out characters. Things like past history and perception get in the way. It's a good thing, as social interactions should be nuanced enough that there's a distinct difference between different people; It's just not something I'd really ever considered before. Granted, I've never had muses refuse to budge until I changed an entire chapter to suit them either.

You must be new to writing. Welcome. Not every interaction has to be, as you call it, nuanced. If every interaction were, why, I'd reckon those characters would be fucking irritating quirk-sticks. The rule for "nuanced" interaction should be, I think, like perfume: enough to see that it's there, but not enough to see that it's coming.
On a side note, I think this is why most fanfics with alternate pairings don't work.

No, most fanfics (all of them) don't work because they're thinly veiled authorial self-insertion fantasies.
Something happened today, because Gambit suddenly skyrocketed in hits. I've no idea why, but ... yay? Though I think Ithilwen's going to never ask me a question in a review ever again. I have a slight obsession with Kuroba Kaito. He's on my cellphone screen in fact. Him and a water lily.

I have no idea what any of that means.
This is why Shinou and Chi and Emy and Midoriko had to threaten my life no less than five times while I was writing Gambit, because I spontaneously decided no one else would want to read it and I wasn't going to post it. I think there was also a moment I decided it was too cliché and no one would want to read it, no matter how much fun I'd been having writing it.

That little voice in the back of your mind is trying to keep you from making an ass of yourself. You should have listened.

I've noticed something. I'm perfectly content working on all my current stories, but once I've played with them enough to get a solid grasp on their world, the part of me that thrives on world-building is off to find a new toy. Apparently, the new toy is now 19th century Paris with alchemy, witchery, and something that may be the Bavarian Illuminati thrown in for snaps.

Bet you think you're really clever with that one, huh? Throwing a bunch of seemingly --lol random-- elements together and forcing them to work, no matter if it's like sewing the head of a dog onto a dolphin's body?
Well I'm here to inform you that you're a no-talent hack. France, like most of Europe, had witch burnings. One of the grandfathers of alchemy (Nicolas Flamel) was French. None of these elements seem at all unrelated to anyone with even a tenuous grasp of history.
While to most that's good news (fantastic this story won't be apeshit crazy) to you I'm sure that's like a punch to the kidneys. YOU MEAN I'M NOT A SPECIAL SNOWFLAKE? No.
Also if I hear one more fantasy story that starts with "so an alchemist..." I'm never reading again.

*peers into her author's Bag o' Ideas and wonders if she dropped it in LSD at some point* You can't give me any ideas that don't require a staggering amount of research, can you? There's enough work there to keep me from doing any writing on it until early 2008.

Staggering amount of research, huh? Yeah I bet. Fifteen minutes on the Wikipedia entry for "France" followed by "alchemy".
Also quite a number of entries ago I recalled mentioning "no one cares what your mood is" and then mentioned that everyone used huge vocabulary words to describe their moods, half of which weren't even moods. I think I even used "quixotic" as an example.
Well I was being facetious before, but goddamn if her mood isn't listed as "quixotic".
I hate the fucking internet.
Found out yesterday that Funimation is going to dub Ouran Host Club. Am I the only one that thinks this is an exceedingly bad idea? I love Host Club. It's hilarious. It's just ... not going to translate well.

Yeah because you understand Japanese humor so well it made sense to you.
Here's a spoiler for you: humor isn't so specific to any one culture that its humor will be lost on all outsiders.
Dear morons that couldn't keep their porn addiction at home,

That's how all open letters should start.
Though, have you ever had a series of days where you just feel like you fell off the ball, and then someone greased it?

Yeah I just wanted to take that out of context.
I'm going to check through her tag list, because I'd wager I'd find at least one of my "words and terms I check for" before I write a blog off as shitty.
Yep, there it is: tarot.
I fucking love tarot. I think the entire mythos behind it is fascinating, and to write it off as a device for fortune telling, to me, degrades its actual meaning.
Let's see-- oh she took one of those internet quizzes. Well fucking fuck who cares what tarot card you are. THE STAR, huh? Big fucking deal. What does it say-- oh, she represents hope and dreams realized.
I wonder what card I'd be? LET ME TAKE THIS QUIZ AND FIND OUT, THEN POST MY RESULTS HERE LIKE ANYONE GIVES A SHIT!
Seriously if you're going to post the results of an internet quiz don't make an entry.
That's today's lesson: don't make frivilous entries.
Also sorry about forgetting Friday but fuck it I was busy.
(By "busy" I mean "I forgot").
