Oh Jesus Christ what's he doing

So Clint Eastwood was caught talking to a chair in front of thousands of people.
I know, I know, but I think we all need to remember he also involved in this scene.
Also this one.
So I think in a career of scenes like this we might forgive him one really deeply uncomfortable one.
I mean remember Play Misty For Me?
You're allowed one like that every 20 or so years.
Anyway, welcome...
TO OBLIVION!
What is your must-see holiday movie?
Oh yes, that's right. The only reason I picked this blog was because it brought me back to the halcyon days of the writer's block.
Those were good times.
I think my answer then was Die Hard and my answer today is still Die Hard.
Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas, from Community. Hell, I just may make it an occasion to rent and watch all three Community Holiday Specials on the same day.
I've heard of this.
Wait no I haven't.
If you could ask the leader of your country anything, what would it be?
How'd you feel about Clint Eastwood's speech?
Was it even more awkward if you're the subject of it or no?
Boxers or briefs?

Because really - we're talking about Obama here.
We're talking about a man well known for not answering any hard hitting questions, true.
I think mine was topical, but I can't blame you for answering this two years ago.
He may not make policies that we all agree with, but physically? He's fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine...

I don't even know what to say to this.
...
No I think we better just move on.
Mississippi is voting on November 8th on whether to pass Amendment 26, the "Personhood Amendment". This amendment would grant fertilized eggs and fetuses personhood status.

Putting aside the contentious issue of abortion, this would effectively outlaw birth control and criminalize women who have miscarriages. This is not a good thing.
I know it hasn't happened yet but Arizona wanted to pass a law that made conception start at 2 weeks before-- err-- conception.
That would also effectively outlaw masturbation.
Some of you out there are Christian.

Some are even Episcopalian.

And some, even go to church!
:VV
If you're in this group, and want to try out something new, may I suggest All Saints Episcopal Church. http://allsaints-seattle.org/ We're a small, funky, diverse congregation located in Rainier Beach. We have LGBT congregants, we have little elderly white church ladies, and we have a growing population of African immigrants, primarily from Nigeria. All of us are led by our wonderful, spiritual, beautiful vicar, Reverend Carla Robinson.
>letting women preach
>ANNO DOMINI PRID KAL SEPT MMXII
"Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law."
- 1 Corinithians 14:34
BUT YOU KNOW I'M SURE YOU'RE NOT MEANT TO TAKE THAT ONE LITERALLY.
The Bible is only literal until it says something uncomfortable. I've learned that.
She has the distinction of being one of the only Black pastors in the Diocese of Olympia, and one of the only MTF Transgendered pastors in the entire Episcopal Union. She gives really dynamic sermons, and the church as a whole has an important social justice bent. We even have our own Social Justice Committee.
>politics
>church
"Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's"
- Matthew 22:21
But I'm suuuuure that's not literal either.
However, even if you're not Christian, we could still use your help.
Have you tried praying?
So apparently this person's hobby is taking the bus to different places.
That sounds like an awesome time. Wake up at 4:30 to take a bus 3000 miles.
Wow this is really boring.
Know what's good reading?
Someone's itinerary.
Did you know that you can go from Seattle to Vancouver, BC using only public transit options? You can! I did it!
My real question here is "why would I want to?"
Aaaaaand I'm up to the beginning of this blog.
I guess good job not posting tons and tons but on the other hand what you did post really sucks so--
fuck it I'm awarding 0 points.
NO STARS.

Furries, Ahoy!

Monday's prediction: a girl whining no one understands her!
Wednesday's prediction: A Christfag!
Friday's prediction: a girl with anorexia! (just kidding those are still banned)
Then we rotate back around and Monday after next is transgendered person.
Might mix it up with philosophical asshole or something but we'll have to see.
Anyway, furries today~

What do you want done with your body after you die?

I don't really care because I'll be dead.
I guess interred, possibly in a sarcophagus.
I"M NOT DYING.

LOL but seriously, I'm torn between cremation and having the ashes scattered in areas of my choice, being buried with no coffin [the idea of haunting a graveyard is just so cool], and being used FOR SCIENCE *lightning*

STILL.

NOT DYING.

lol.

You remind me of someone who wanted in my Linkshell. I told them not only no but hell no and demoted the person who suggested they might be a useful addition to the LS.
They should have known better than to recommend someone who uses emotes in common speech.
But coconuts symbolize prosperity in several cultures. Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of well-being and wealth is depicted with a coconut with regularity.

Fascinating, don't you think?

No.
Not at all, in fact.
Wow, so food, especially a staple food, is usually a symbol of prosperity?
WOOOOW!
Christ.
Not a good day. It's all stupid little stuff, so I'm not even going to mention it, must suffice to say: blargh.

Just a steady stream of shit that was enough to drive me fucking batshit insane, pardon my language.

*sigh*

I hate days like today.

Gotta get alchemist to rank (level, whatever the term is now) 36.
It's just sooooo uninteresting to level alchemist. Alchemist doesn't even do anything good past level 20 but I gotta get that Hand of the Gods ability.
Not sure the alchemy guild is exercising good judgment by entrusting Edie Hart with an ability called Hand of the Gods but I guess she already has one called Contagion so I'm not sure one more will cause more of a problem.
And the ONE thing I want to do to make it all better, go to a nice little park or something to blow off steam? Oh no, I can't do that, some fucking creeper was hanging around the park. NO.

*bigger sigh*

This little whining entry has 21 comments, I'd like to point out.
I read legitimately interesting things yesterday that didn't garner 21 comments.
Oh, also I did extensive (and I do mean extensive, even by my standards) research on the possibility of muscle enhancement, because there are drugs that can decrease muscle mass, why not increase it?
Of course, they do exist but the major drawback is they all cause enlargement of the heart and brain tumors.
I feel these issues can be ironed out with enough research, though.
I suppose the problem is the number of people who want to be superhuman killing machines aren't as many as the number of men who want to be women.
We gotta start a movement, guys.

Today's subject: People who have no fucking clue that art improvement doesn't happen in a short time, and quit because they don't improve.

You can improve drastically in a short amount of time if you know how to learn (learning how to learn is a skill you can acquire) but it only works to a certain point.
Like learning how to thin your paints shows immediate improvement but then you kind of stop improving until you figure out the next breakthrough. Progress isn't a steady grind like RPGs, you know.
I feel like I say that a lot.

I've been drawing for most of my life. If you cut out the times I stopped drawing for varying reasons, I've probably drawn for about 20 years. I drew pretty much constantly between ages five and ten. I didn't improve but I didn't even know you could at that age.

I barely drew between ages ten and fifteen.

I had trouble painting within the lines when I was 10 but I did show a surprising amount of attention to keeping an even coat.
Didn't quite hit on the notion of thinning paints but my early Warham efforts are pretty smooth.
I didn't improve for years. If you saw art of mine between 1995 and 2003, There's very, very little improvement.

Me neither, then I had one figure that was a huge breakthrough and--
I feel like I explain how progress works a lot, did I mention that?

And still, STILL, my best year has been this one. 2011. How long is that? that's 3 years straight of busting my ass to improve. Outright TRYING. THREE. FUCKING. YEARS.

Did I mention going back and relearning the basics often yields the best results you'll get in terms of improvement?
The basics are basic for a reason.

And when I see someone bitching about how they busted their ass for four months [and claims to have filled two sketchbooks but doesn't provide but four pages for proof] and then quitting because of it, I want to beat them with their sketchbooks.

I kind of want to hit you for thinking 3 years is significant. What are you, 17?
No, I know you're not because you mention being alive for at least 20 years.

Art talent is not magical. You have to earn it. You earn it by doing it.

I think you need to look up the definition of talent, because I'm pretty sure it doesn't mean what you think it means. A talent by definition is a natural endowment. You can start with very little and still wind up better than someone who has talent, but the point is a talent is something innate.
There was an entire Bible story about it?
Never mind.
Art is not something that falls in your lap. You will not wake up one day with magical skills. I spent years wishing I would, and you know what that got me? Nothing. I started busting my ass with my art, and now I'm proud of it. Now I can look over a year of art and go "I am actually pleased with this."

Except you draw furry bullshit, soooooo--
"Art should be fun, art should not be work. Art should not make you hate yourself or want to throw your sketchbook out your window."

Actually, yes, art should be work. Art will make you hate yourself for choosing THAT pose and THAT angle, and THAT perspective. Art will make you want to heave your computer out of the window. And yet.

AND YET.

Art IS fun.

You're really annoying. I've never seen a choice of capslock that has pissed me off before.
Something about the "and yet, AND YET" thing really got to me. If you talk like that in real life someone should really punch you in the face.
At the end, you look at what you produced, and you say to yourself "All that hell gave me this. It's beautiful. LETS DRAW MORE."

It's a love-hate relationship, and to become a "true" artist, you must come to understand and accept that, or you will never achieve what you want.

Sorry I refuse to acknowledge furry artists as real artists.
I have a pretty loose definition of artist, too, because I'm willing to call people who freehand shit on their Warhams artists.

number 1- no matter what, a glaive is still just a piece of metal on a stick. It's a polearm.

Actually there was a fair period of time where the word "glaive" was used synonymously with "gladius" which is a sword, but all right it typically is a polearm.
This is how this entry starts, incidentally.
Unless it's made of lead and twenty feet long, a muscular human could wield it no problem, once they had practice.
I don't think a 20 foot glaive would be advisable.
number 3- show me a time when wood is heavier than metal when it comes to weapons. No, go on.

Oh, what's this?

And what do you fucking know?

Ain't made of titanium, and even so, unless it's alloyed with aluminum or plastic, it's not going to be lighter than wood.

Except copper is lighter than ironwood God you suck.
You talk as if wood is light. It isn't.
number 4- A person can misjudge how well they can use a weapon, especially if they're not familiar with polearms. An extremely well balanced weapon can fool you into believing you can wield it even when it's heavy.

A well balanced weapon kind of offsets the weight--
If it isn't balanced you're going to have to compensate for a lot, no matter how light it is.
I'm not even an expert on this shit but you're making so many mistakes in three paragraphs. I really think you should stop talking about this.

number 5- I'm not terribly strong in the upper body, but I can flail around a 40lb sword with no training and not strain myself too badly. This should give you an idea, as I'm untrained and fat [honesty here, not low self-esteem], and have little trained muscle.

40 pound sword--
because swords should weigh that much.
For comparison, the earlier mentioned Roman gladius weighed about a pound and a half and is widely considered one of the most successful swords used by any army.
number 6- why are we arguing about this? It's clear you don't know jack about weaponry. If you want to make it realistic, remember that no matter who's wielding it and how big and strong they are, unless they're 12+ feet tall and 500+ lbs, they're not going to wield a 100lb polearm. Sorry.

Even a 500+ pound man is going to wear himself out pretty quick swinging a 40 pound sword around.

RPGs. The one time when people who don't know shit think they know everything.

I know, man.
Crazy.
Also you do know most RPGs prominently feature mythical creatures and magic.
My Final Fantasy character punched a demon to death. I don't really question how she can haul 15 tons of sharks around or where she keeps them because she just punched a demon to death.
Things are a lot more fun when you don't really think too hard about how they don't make sense.
Here's a post entitled "RIP Steve Jobs" and the only thing in it is "you magnificent bastard".
Look I know the guy died and people love Apple products but can we stop going on like we lost a Christ figure? He had a questionable personal life and did relatively little with his personal fortune, unlike the often maligned Bill Gates.
I really don't mean to speak ill of the dead in this case but cool it, people.
"Why don't you get a REAL job?"

Hahaha seriously? I mean, really? You must be jealous because last time I checked, I provide a service AND goods.... and get paid for it. Sounds like a real job to me.

Jelly of making furry costumes for a living.
Unless you're raking in six figures for the fucking gayest job ever then no, I'm not jealous.
Oh that's right, being a professional furry costume designer is gayer than being in gay porn.
Maybe what you should have said was "Why don't you get a STABLE job?" Because that is far more understandable of a statement to make. Getting a "stable" regular job is hard in this economy, places that are hiring won't hire everybody,

I really hope I get to become president of anime just so I can say "I only applied to two places and got hired and I'm pretty much the epitome of a slacker."

and many of them make you jump through a billion hoops

I did have to jump through a few hoops, not gonna lie.
But don't start talking to me about whether or not my job is "real". At least you're not the jerks who sit there treating me like I'm a moneygrubbing scumbag just because I'm a homemaker.

A housewife is a job.
Excuse me, "homemaker" forgot my gender neutral words.
But no that's a hard job. Just because you don't get paid for it doesn't instantly qualify it as not a job.

The person I live with and I made that decision eight years ago. So knock it off and grow up.

I'd say you are fortunate to be in a situation where both of you don't have to work to live but that doesn't make it any less difficult.

Routers routers routers. We purchased a second router to try to get a better signal so I don't have to have my receiver hanging from a chair.

Several hours and a lot of nonsense later, and it completely died, I can't connect to it even though it's right there in the network list. It's not the key or anything, it just says "Cannot connect to router through the network" which is dumb because five minutes before, it connected. >_>

Check your NAT type, dipshit.
Christ all mighty. 192.168.1.1 in Firefox, click connections (or similarly headed tab) and switch NAT from 3 to 2.
Am I an expert or what's going on here?
Okay, we all know tragedies suck. And I mean the stories. They do! They're sad, they're painful, they're an emotional rollercoaster, and people are suffering.

BUT.

What did I tell you about that caps thing?
Cool it, Shatner. You don't write with the same voice you speak.
As stories they're some of the best material out there. They're more beautiful than any other type of story. /opinion

HOWEVER.

Oh man did you just do it twice in a row?
Also I like how you're trying to make a coherent argument with no proof outside of "it's my opinion." Yeah, well my opinion is most tragedies are melodramatic nonsense.
Fuck off.

Don't get your panties in a twist if I say I prefer happy endings. I'm not saying tragedies are bad. I just hate seeing people suffer.

They're fictional characters. They're not really suffering.
You know what though? I am probably most guilty for running my characters [haha when they're around of course] into the ground with suffering and tragedy and guilt and emotional rollercoasters... because giving them something to be happy about after that... it gives me that bit of joy because there's no suffering anymore.

Wow you just discovered a term so old it's still in Greek: catharsis.
Aristotle was figuring this shit out in the B.C.s. Good job, you just have about 2500 years of storytelling to catch up on now.

FOR NOW. >:D

Okay I'm not that bad. XD

Seriously though? Preferring something does not automatically make the other thing bad.

I bet your stories are complete and utter garbage.
I bet, after reading your stories, I'd be a little more sympathetic to Stephen King. I'd want to see what he's been working on, in fact.
A half hour ago now I went to bed. I laid comfortably for a while, and then suddenly I felt this hard pinching sensation in my left leg. As if someone had grabbed two spots with their hands and pinched fingers against palms. I jumped and slapped at my leg, muttering at my leg to stop it. (Figuring on it being the precursor of a charlie horse.) It stopped, but as soon as I laid down again, it happened again. This time I had a funny feeling about it. I point blank said "Leave me alone, and if you mean me harm, get out, this is my home."

Deciding to be safe, I turned the light on, got a red marker, and drew a pentagram on my ankle. then switched the light off and laid down.

...
Uh-huh?

Looks like whatever that was must have latched onto me in order to get inside past the salt barrier. Might have to get a pentagram tattoo, because I don't dare wear a necklace to bed.

Wouldn't want to dare that--
because you might strangle yourself accidentally in your sleep I guess.
Here's a post entitled "what is it with me and weird dreams?" and from the sounds of it, it's the supposed demonic possession.
Wow this is really boring.
Anyway I'll see you guys Monday for "misunderstood whining girl" I guess.

A waste of mankind's potential

Expert on economic affairs right here.
Why she hasn't been hired to bail out the economy I'll never know.
What music lifts you up when you’re feeling down?

Today's writer's block.
Ready for an insightful answer?
I'm not entirely sure.
Weird.

POOOOSTING ON LIIIIVEJOURNAL!
Yesterday's writer's block was interesting:
Where were you?

It took me a solid five minutes to figure out what they were talking about. Then I remembered it was 9/11 and I had to act all silent and deferential to my computer like someone was watching.
I must say everyone's "spiritual" and "insightful" answers about INNOCENCE LOST are about as tacky as expected.

Our grandparents were visiting and we were just about to leave to go to Pikes Peak, I mean the top of the Peak. But we waited to leave the house till we saw everything happen on the news. We still went though and it was still fun. It was nice to have a reminder of how big God is.

We have no fear, because God knows all and he has all ready defeated our enemies.

Yeah, remember how God told the Navy SEALS right where bin Laden was and then on 9/12 al Qaeda fell?
Me neither.

Okay,

So I was reading something about the movie "Horrible bossess" and in one post I read that Jennifer Aniston's character calls her assistant a Faggot. Well - he should report her to HR or something - sue her for sexual harassment. I won't, however, denounce the use of the word. As most people have pointed out, her character is supposed to be a horrible person.

Okay calm down, he's a fucking character in a movie. He's not real.
Okay,
So weird shit happens in fandom. Not that I mind. I don't read mpreg or that switching a male character into a female character because I think it's kinda lame. If you're gonna write a slash fic about Harry/Draco or Apollo/Starbuck - turning one character into a female to make it het - to me - is a cop out. It means the Author can't stand homosexual relationships and insists on changing an aspect to suit their morals.

Truly this is the only problem with fanfiction.
What the fuck kind of bizarro world are you living in where that's the one flaw of fanfiction?
YOU KNOW I REALLY HATE IT WHEN CHARACTERS GENDER BEND.
Okay,

So I am a very weird person and this really has nothing to do with politics even though I'm gonna put it under that tag.

Okay.

Okay, first, politican's can't make jobs. They never could and they never will. They can all say they can, but that's just a load of shit.

OKAY GUYS GET READY OKAY OKAY OKAY this is like the fifth "okay" in this blog and I've gone through three entries. Also no politician has ever created a job by starting a federal program. That has never happened in the history of civilization-- oh wait the Mesopotamians were doing that shit. My mistake.
Seriously, the economy is something that changes on a whim. It took a long time for the world to get out of the Great Depression

Actually it didn't take that long due to a little something you might have read about called WORLD WAR II.

and seeing as how America isn't in food lines - and I mean that for everyone not just the homeless - I don't see it as a very difficult "depression".

You know how I'm reading this? "I don't really know what a recession or a depression is."
The Economy has to right itself. I know it sucks. But it will get better.

Fucking magically it has to right itself. It magically got into trouble so it has to magically correct itself. Despite it being a construct of human endeavor, no human endeavor can possibly hope to fix it. I'm pretty sure this is how we got into this problem in the first place.

and, seeing as how I'm a conservative, I never did believe Obam's dumb arsed promises.

I mean seriously, I never trust anyone who can make speaches that get a bunch of other people into some weird hive-mind mentality (is that a double negative or a double positive?)

So you've never trusted any politician ever.
A good idea to be sure but don't pretend like Obama invented this notion.
Also:
>speaches

to start shouting "we can change" or whatever the hell they were chanting. Sorry - but when some dude can do that...I'm gonna be on guard because the last guy was German, didn't have a telepromter and killed a bunch of Innocent people. *cough HITLERcough*

Pretty sure the last guy to do that was George W. Bush and Clinton before him and Bush Senior before him and Reagan before him but whatever. I'm not the expert on politics and economics that you clearly are.

Am I wrong to suspect this of someone who can give a good speach?

I mean a little. Obama is an inept leader for sure but I definitely wouldn't call him the next Hitler.
Ah,t he joys of America - where we can believe whatever we want as long as we don't go around blowing people up. :)

Ah the joys of America-- where we can say whatever we want wherever we want no matter how uneducated we may be or how uninformed our opinion is.
Have I talked about this before? I'm sure I've ranted about it. But...Seeing as how I am a writer, I take this very, very seriously.

Okay, I will start with this.

Okay. The title is "Post on Plagiarism" and before I even read it I'm guessing she did something wrong and it's somehow not her fault.

I took a college class once and I turned in an essay. I know for a fact that my essay was on the bottom of the stack and our professor had a dickens of a time grading and getting them back to the class on time. Also, because I'm anal. I asked if I had to have a citations page at the end? you know the page that lists all the sources you researched for your essay? right, anyway, she said it was optional and since I hate doing that page, I opted not to do it.

>Citation
>optional
Not in any class I've ever taken, no.
She probably interpreted that as "a separate page for citations" and you probably interpreted it as "no citations needed" in which case you are provably an idiot.

Now,

When one quotes a person there are TWO ways to give credit to that person. A) Say so-and-so said once...and then use the quote within quotation marks, or B) Quote and then the person's name. As LONG as you have the name to the quote, it's not plagiarism.

No, actually. To avoid plagiarism you'd have to prove in a court of law that you could trace where you got the quote. I know in classes I've taken that includes in text citation (author's name plus page number) and then at the end you have to include such information as the author's name, the book/article/whatever you got the idea from and then you have to list the publisher and other details. In fact you have to cite it even if you just borrow an idea from it and don't quote it. I've cited things and there were no quotations involved.
My teacher told me I had plagiarised, and when I obviously pointed out I had the guys name, she still said I'd plagiarised.

BECAUSE YOU DID.
Two things universities take seriously: accusations of cheating and accusations of plagiarism. Don't joke or fuck around with either of those. Cover your ass. I used to print out two citation pages in case the page got ripped off. It has happened to me.
So, I told her to show me EXACTLY where I'd done it. and she didn't. She gave me a bunch of lame, non-commital answers whcih just made me realized she probably didn't remember me nor did she remember my essay. She was just done with me. Anyway, to say the least I despised that teacher after that day.

"That's really odd because I had a citation page-- maybe it got ripped off? Is there any way I can hand it into you again, or send you my essay via email? I'm really sorry this happened and I'd like to correct it if at all possible."
Professors are humans too, and I'm sure if you tried to charm her a little she'd look the other way this once.
Instead you probably took the defensive and she has more to deal with than your bullshit so she began to resent you.

First. I never plagarised in that essay. I wish I knew where it was now so I could review it. But, I probably got rid of it out of anger.

So what happened? I know at the university I went to plagiarism means you get expelled and your entire record wiped and you can't go back to that university. It's basically total annihilation at that institution.

I've brought this up as an example that any alligations of Plagiarism is horrible. To an honest writer like myself it makes me feel like a heel. Just because other students do this. It doesn't mean that I do it. I've never done it because I feel very confident in my abilities to write something original and awesome.

Sounds like hubris to me.
Like there's no way this precious snowflake could make a mistake.
WONDER WHY THE PROFESSOR DIDN'T LET YOU REDO THIS?
There are a few things I do want to point out though -

You can't steal ideas.
If Idea's could be copy writed,

>If ideas (brotip: an apostrophe doesn't mean "look out, here come's an s!") could be copyrighted
>IF ideas could be copyrighted
IDEAS CAN BE FUCKING COPYRIGHTED YOU STUPID CUNT.

Here's your problem: not only are you completely uneducated (not a bad thing or character flaw) your ignorance and hubris completely magnifies the former quality to the point where no one can stand you.

no one could write a story about an orphan kid that goes to a magical school or even, some how learns how to use his/her magical abilites.

You can but when you start calling it Harry Potter then you might run into a few problems.
There's a pretty big difference between plagiarism and inspiration.

Also, no one could write a Space Opera involving battle stars and capes. Nor could any one write about a human girl falling in love with a Pervy Vampire.

But these are just general outlines of ideas. They don't constitute the whole idea.
Are you fucking with me or are you really this stupid?

The idea is to take these plots and put your own original spin onto them. It wouldn't be enough to change the magical kid into a girl and call her Harriette, unles it was a parody, in which case its all rather fuzzy. Anyway, you have to do more to make the story original.

>parody is fuzzy
Not really. Parody laws are pretty explicit, in fact.
I've taken steps to turn my own fan fics into original stories while yet keeping the same theme. I've changed name and place names but that's not enough. I have to re-write the character's to not resemble the fan ficced ones in any way shape or form. Even if I do keep a few small details - the point is pretty simple.

Does Plagiarism happen? indeed it does and if anyone does it knowingly and non-accidentally - I want to see them be called on that.

You really have no idea how the world works, do you?

However, I'm afraid that some acusations of Plagiarism are accidental. as in my case there wasn't any proof and my teacher just assumed it - I know it's hard to proove that, but seeing as how I haven't any history of such a despicable habit - meh, what do I care what a dumb teacher says!

Well, not to contradict an expert on all affairs but this would be a civil case in which case you would actually have to prove you didn't plagiarize. The law does work that way, yes.
In the comic world it is a normal occurance for people to take pictures of sky lines, put them on a white board, and then copy over. However, this isn't plagiarism if you use your own photo's for this purpose. The funny thing about this practice is that I was told in one of my how to draw manga pics to trace other works.

... Tracing is legal, you do realize.
Now when you trace Goku and rename him Boku and then try to sell it as Dragon Crystal Z then I think you might run into a few issues.
I understand that in this book they don't mean for me to claim it as my own. Even a tracing can't be all that accurate. After all, we never sign our names the same way twice. Therefore, even a drawing of Edward Elric can be concidered fan art and even if I didn't give credit to the original Mangaka, people would know it's fan art.

What is happening?
Am I dying?

Sometimes, I've seen the absence of a disclaimer on fan fic, and I know it's fan fiction and for some reason I think the author believes we should know it's fan fiction. Still, different practices and all that. I prefer to use a disclaimer. But that's how I leant to do it in the first place.

So we've gone from school essays to drawing to fanfiction--

So, after all this random, random rambling...
Plagiarism is a horrible thing and no is allowed to do it. :)

Really?
That's your conclusion?
Because you seemed to be arguing for plagiarism in a few instances.
There are six comments. I hope they've called her a stupid cunt for me.
No they haven't.

It is a sad sight when a paragraph is bunched into a block without mercy. When all actions are put into a single sentance and thought does not matter. Much. I implore all writer's to try and be more kind to their story. The scenery around the characters and action is a blur that no one notices. How can one not notice what is around them at one single time?

Wow. That is really funny that you are telling me to watch how I write when there is not a solitary sentence in this paragraph that doesn't contain at least one error.
The plagiarist who can't spell simple words and doesn't know how possessives work is telling me to watch my writing.
I can't get over it.
Details matter. I do not care who implores you to be rid of Adjectives. Those sorts of people must be livid with hatred towards highly thought out, and colourful words that writer's have implored for ages. In today's age, we speak in sub-par language, gone are the days were writing was an art that was vastly appreciated.

Now it is all simplyfy your writing. Say what you mean in two words or less.

Please, take your time, add your details, and do not - I say - do not become a racist against "ly" words.

... Adjectives-- racism--
Adjectives-- adjectives aren't a race, you do realize. They aren't human. While I suppose you can technically be prejudiced against them most people would consider prejudice as only applied to humans. I suppose you can be biased against them but that's really a scholarly debate rather than an actual injustice.
I can't believe how fucking stupid you are. It almost has me sitting in awe.
I'm a writer.
My goal in life is to explore the world however I can, any way I can.
I mainly do this through slash fiction. It works for me. I can write female character's but I prefer a male/male love romance. What does that say about me? either I am sexually screwed up - or...well...I'm a writer.

It says you're creatively bankrupt, I know that.

I always have a hard time seperating out my work from my religion. Technically, I'm Christian.
Yeah, you wouldn't know it from what I write, would you? and I am faced with this question each and every time I go to write a love scene between two men...

Is this a one way ticket to Hell?

On one hand I'd say no. It's fantasy. I'm not doing it. But the bible say's that if you look at another person with lust in your heart, you have commited a sin.

There you have it.

Only....the people I'm writing about don't exist. They're fiction. Even when I had a boy-friend I didn't think about having sex with him. I thought about the life we could spend together. Really, the sex part is second hand to the friendship you share with the special person in your life.

I'm pretty sure there's a passage in the Bible about twisting the word of God to suit your own needs. But whatever, you are the expert on all affairs.
I don't know if what I write is a sin. The Bible isn't very clear on it. I don't honsetly think I'll go to hell for writing - what sort of punishment would I recieve? everyone has fantasies. How is it the a straight fantasy isn't bad while a homosexual and lesbian one is? or why is it that two girls kissing is acceptable but not two guys?

You just quoted the part of the Bible where it says if you've committed sin in your heart then it's as bad as actually doing that thing. You admit to having sexual fantasies so by the Bible's logic (if you want to call it that) you are living with lust and lust is a mortal sin.
THERE IS NO WEASELING YOUR WAY OUT OF THIS.
FUUUUCK.
Oh God, no.
I think I'm out.

The Winner

The best stories tell simple stories with simple morals but the characters are what make the stories complex and interesting.
All posturing aside, the moral of The Odyssey is if you leave home you'll probably miss it and the moral of Dante's Inferno is often we punish ourselves harder than anything else. This is literally shit any 6 year old can tell you and yet if you're smart and well read you will consider these the pinnacle of storytelling.
Why is that?
COULD IT BE BECAUSE DANTE AND HOMER WEREN'T FUCKING HACKS?

Let's take another two pinnacles of storytelling: Gundam 0083 and Fist of the North Star.
Moral of Gundam 0083? Sometimes shit isn't quite what you expect it to be and sometimes responsibility is a lot less fun than you think it'll be. It's kind of a coming-of-age story wrapped up in political drama.
Fist of the North Star doesn't really have a moral outside of "inner strength is more important than physical strength" but that's a bit of a reach.
Were you to break the plots down it's basically "19 year old kid wants to pilot a Gundam, pilots a Gundam and finds a lot of responsibility and fighting comes with it" and Fist of the North Star is "Bruce Lee mixed with Clint Eastwood fights weirdos in postapocalyptic Japan."
WHY ARE MODERN PLOTS TO CHILDREN'S FICTION A TEN PAGE EPIC IN THEMSELVES?
If you couldn't tell from my previous rant, today's blogger is a writer.
Or a reader.
Anyway he's an asshole.

What is your biggest regret? Did you learn from it or does it still plague you?

Why did I buy into the hype of Spore at all?
What kind of fucking idiot am I?
I'm still going with not asking out the woman I met at the booksigning for Sea of Silver Light by Ted Williams in 2001.

THAT WAS TEN FUCKING YEARS AGO. GO OUTSIDE AND TALK TO A GIRL YOU RETARD.
Losers and faggots of the world, listen to me: go East.
Actually this is really unsound advice if you're still lamenting not asking a girl you saw in a bookstore out 10 years ago because if you go to some shithole all you'll learn is you're as much a loser there as you are here.
Hooray for New York, which last week became the eighth state to legalize gay marriage and sixth where marriage equality is the law of the land (California and Maine walked it back). And boo to this person, who gets to be Today's Asshat. Apparently, Barbara Something Or Other, the town clerk of East Shitbox, New York, doesn't want to sign marriage certificates for gay couples because it's against her religion. You know what, Babs? Tough shit.

Well luckily people who have trouble doing their jobs quickly find themselves looking for a new one.
Although she does work for the government so maybe not.
I'm sorry, but I'm tired of mollycoddling people who think their religious beliefs are an excuse not to do their fucking jobs. You're a pharmacist: fill the fucking prescriptions. You're a town clerk: Sign the fucking marriage certificates.

I must say it's somewhat refreshing to see a blogger with some conviction and enough balls to say "fuck you and do your fucking job."
Maybe you're not so bad after all, kid.
The bookbanners are at it again. Here's a lovely little article from The Wall Street Journal talking about how dark and ugly Young Adult fiction has become. I don't want to engage too much with the article except to say that I'm not sure that the author has ever met a teen, and to point out once again that your problems with what authors write and publishers publish is your problem and not theirs.

I see I have another one of these blogs that has what we in litfag circles call "logorrhea" or RUNNING YOUR GODDAMN HOLE TOO MUCH.
Also yes, young adult literature is complete and utter shit today. Anyone remember Animorphs? Yeah well that woman wrote another series called Everworld and those books were totally batshit.
They should bring those back.
They're just writing about what they see and what they think kids will relate to. You're clutching your pearls and freaking out about the fact that children might actually develop a point of view. So how about you take a chill pill and talk to your kids about what they read, instead of excoriating the publishing industry for doing it's job?

So I know I'm asking for the impossible but can you people please learn the difference between "it's" and "its" (hint: they work backwards). Even people who are seemingly semiliterate can't manage this grammatical acrobatic act.
"it's" is always a contraction and its is always possessive. Is that so fucking difficult? People who are shit at English always talk about how the rules are never consistent enough. Well there are two rules that are ALWAYS CONSISTENT and yet you fuckers still manage to shit it up.
Bang up fucking job all around.
Also, gotta love this comment. Homeschooling mom decides to avoid the horrors of modern YA by giving her kids the stuff she used to love, like the Pern books, which are basically a culture built on rape, the Xanth books, which are pretty much pro–sexual deviancy and develop disturbing pedophiliac undertones as they go along.

Is this literally a culture built on rape or is this pussy sensitivity "white men raped some Indian women in the 1600s so America is bad" culture of rape?

And she adds Watership Down, which is one of the most violent children's books ever, and features the line, "Eat shit, you stinking dictator," (Admittedly, in rabbit), and Where the Red Fern Grows which features dogs getting disemboweled and a teen falling on an ax. Oh, and she's pro–Harry Potter, a book series that begins with a double-murder.

I definitely would hesitate to put Harry Potter in the same sentence as Watership Down but you have a point I suppose.
My friend Charlie lent me the first three Guardians of the Flame books when I was about 15 or 16. They were standard D&D-kids-go-into-the-world-they're-playing-in books, except of course that they were anything but standard.
That sounds fucking horrible.
How old are you, anyway?
Well the first one was published in 1983 and the last one was published in 2003, so-- anywhere from "older than you should be to talking about this shit" to "shut up you dumb punk kid" even though-- yeah even if you were 15 in 2003 you're at most a year younger than me.

One of the seven kids has muscular dystrophy, and Rosenberg wrote straight out about what it meant, and another dies within the first thirty or so pages. And the series' overarching theme is about freedom—the titular "Flame" being the flame of freedom and how freedom isn't free.

Even freedom isn't really freedom, maaaaaaaaan.

Some twat at the Atlantic wrote an article about how liberals are in love with endless war just like neocons that got all the dates right and all the details wrong.

War is profitable, all (successful) politicians are profiteers and opportunists--
Waiting for a successful rebuttal to to this logic.
I'm not going to link to that. Instead, I'm going throw out a random couple of paragraphs about War and related stuff that I really like.

Oh. So instead of keeping on topic, I'm going to counter-rant.
Makes sense to me~

This is from an intern at Wonkette, who is 23 and says, "Fuck war":

23 year old intern, huh.
I was recently one of those and I can honestly say we're full of shit.
And if you’re opposed to Endless War, you keep good company: Voltaire, Thoreau, Twain, Vonnegut, Heller, Trumbo, Orwell — etc. etc.

And if I'm pro-war I keep such company as Homer, Dante, Machiavelli and FDR.
I like how we're getting around the thorny situation of "sometimes you have to defend yourself" or "sometimes you have to take the offensive to prevent a drag out, knock down siege situation" by inventing the phrase "Endless War" (note the capitalization, this is a clever trick employed by hack philosophers the world over because specifically when it's capitalized it has a specific connotation that might be absent from literally interpreting the term, thereby ensuring if you ever back them into a corner they can weasel out).
I can't think of many people, save the most depraved of individuals, who are seriously "pro war" most people who are pro fighting a specific war only do so because they don't see any other realistically viable solution to the problem.
Even the titanically stupid Vietnam War was fought to prevent a perceived Communist takeover.
I'm sure we're about to argue the current war situation is fought exclusively over oil and economic reasons and while you're generally right I dare say you, a 23 year old intern with no world experience and no actual combat experience, is in no position to be making claims to this effect.
Lordy, even Helen Keller, who was dealt the shittiest hand, ever, and would have had every right to be a violent right-wing vengeful Bitter, was anti-war. She was actually a straight-up commie. Go figure.

I-- what?
Wasn't Helen Keller well known for being a lovely person?
Seriously, bro? You're seriously arguing she could have been bitter and nasty?
Anyone can be bitter and nasty.
And this is somehow supposed to prove liberals aren't pro-war? Are you fucking with me or are you just that dumb?
And a couple of generals. First William T. Sherman:

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation. War is hell.

Sherman is someone you should be listening to on the subject of war but this guy is still a yahoo.
That said, I'm curious about something book related. I've just started Kushiel's Dart by Jacqueline Carey, and I already find myself enormously annoyed by the book's voice, which I would describe as "first-person pretentious," and even moreso by the setting.

Well you'd know about pretentious.

So I was going to write a long, philosophical post for my birthday, as I often do, and then I decided, fuck it, I don't need the hassle. Happy birthday to me; I am 40 years old today.

Just what I need more of from you: philosophy.
What the fuck is it with men on Livejournal? They're all armchair philosophers and politicians, and they all suck at it. No one wants to hear your juvenile opinion on war.
Also I thought you were a 23 year old intern? Was that, what, 17 years ago?
Uuuuuuuuuuuuh fuck it.

Got into an argument on a message board once. Someone had posted about the death of a member of the Dave Matthews Band and someone else gave him grief for his excessive reaction to the passing of someone he didn't know.

What has happened to you where you're arguing about Dave Matthews on the internet?
For as much as you people think about yourself don't you ever take a step back and say "wow, I'm an asshole"? Or is that sense not built in?
My response was that there are many different types of relationship and that a feeling of closeness that only went one way, like being a fan of someone's work, wasn't any less valid a relationship than any other kind

Everyone hates you on the message boards because you are the archetypal white knight. You will literally come to the rescue of anyone even if they should be obliterated for being stupid.
You care so much less about the point than how they make it that I bet if someone dressed up a Hitler speech in the right way you'd probably agree with it.
Oh my God to make a long, long, long story short: he liked this author who died.
I mean Jesus Christ, really?
Everyone has that story. "Gee I really liked a singer/writer/whatever and then they died so I'm a little bit sad about it." Fuck you keep moving.

Okay, I'm a good doobie and I applaud my Democratic president most of the time even when he buys into Republican frames and does shit that's just stupid or doesn't work to disassemble the national surveillance state we've been busy setting up for the last decade or three, but I gotta ask, "What the fuck does 'a time-limited, scope-limited military action' mean?"

Okay I know I'm probably going to come off really bad for saying this but you idiots need to be watched. You've clearly proven you can't handle freedoms without having your hand held along the way so we need a big brother set up. I'm sorry but until you chucklefucks can prove yourself not 100% inept in every important facet we need to tap your phones.
I know it's illegal and blah blah blah listen, it is for your protection.
I know everyone was up in arms about the new x-ray shit at airports that can see through clothing (no one really wants to see your giant belly rolls, saggy tits and/or your mediocre, flaccid penis anyway so don't flatter yourself) but I seriously imagine people have accidentally rigged up explosive devices to themselves when getting dressed in the morning.
It may seem like I'm kidding but I know for a fact people that dumb exist.
That's how President Obama describe our Libya adventure.

I'm not sure how I feel about Libya (except that he hasn't broken the law yet; read the War Powers Authorization of 1973),

Again with the breaking the law thing and war.
You're bombing a fucking country and you have to consult a book about whether or not it's a good idea?
Have we really departed from common sense that much that we have to ask ourselves whether it's a good idea to fight someone?
HINT: PROBABLY NOT.

Okay, the idea that a bill requiring school uniforms to prevent kids walking around in loose pants will help create jobs seems pretty fucking laughable to me, but hey, there are people who buy into the idea that uniformity and dress codes increase performance.

All right dipshit I'm here to tell you that it does create jobs (witnessed first hand) and it does sort of increase performance when done right.
What follow is so titanically stupid I'm going to go find something else to do and pretend I never saw it.
Fuck the internet.

Dumb, boring bullshit

Hiding behind a "you are about to view content that may not be appropriate for minors" is a surefire way to bore me instantly. In the history of Edie Finds a Corpse have I ever stumbled across a blog that had material "inappropriate for minors"? I can't recall a time where hiding 'neath the blinding surface was pornography or a raunchy sex story or a grand tell of crime and villainy. I always click it and it's "HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY TAXES THIS YEAR" which I swear to Christ we are about to read.
Oh boy is it coming.

Now that Arnold Schwarzenegger is returning to acting, which of his film characters would you like to see him play first?

Well Commando is one of my favorite movies and they haven't shit all over it yet so I guess Commando might be fun to ruin.
I'd like to see him do something entirely new. I'm tired of Hollywood rehashing everything, especially of things they've already redone several times. Give him something with a little more depth than catchphrases and bone-crushing stunts.

The man has the acting range of a foghorn. I don't think "something with a little more depth" is Arnold.
Instead, the post I'm making now is an emergency. And I absolutely, thoroughly hate that it's gotten to this.

Alex is still out of work. No one has followed up with him. He's gotten a letter saying what we're approved to get for unemployment ($330 a week), but no check has been forthcoming. We don't even know when we'll get one.

I'd like to point out by Livejournal's rating standards this entry requires you to be a legal adult to read. That is one year higher than an R-rated movie or an M-rated video game.
This blog has the same requirement that it would take to walk into an adult bookstore and buy hardcore pornography.
We need help, big time, right now. We can't afford to be evicted; there's no where we can go. I can't go homeless again. And if it weren't for me, Alex would be seriously contemplating something dire.

We'll try to get what help we can from Georgia DHS... but for now, we just need to keep a roof over our heads.

Change you can believe in.

I'm happy to consider giving any of my services in return for immediate help.

HEH NOW I SEE WHY THIS BLOG IS 18+
STEALTH PROSTITUTION ON LIVEJOURNAL.
Do you want me to draw something for you? Give consultation on an interior design project? Draw up some plans? I can hand render and I've got AutoCAD. Do you want me to write something for you?

Oh. Those services.

I've almost got my monologue for V-Day memorized. I'm performing "Hair," and the director loves what I'm doing with it. My main notes for this week consist of continuing to memorize, because that's going to aid me with enunciating and projecting my voice. Considering the character, I think that's doubly needed: she wants to make sure that she's heard.

No context necessary, please.
This is seriously about as interesting as the Final Fantasy XIV threads that are always entitled something like "why I quit" like anyone cares why that you quit.
"I know I got a friend code from a friend and played all the way to level 5 on miner so I feel fully justified in telling you my personal journal in this game."

A little bitch session about my Ancient Art & Architecture class -- though really, to be fair, maybe it's a bitch session about SCAD and how all the good resources are in Savannah and Atlanta has to beg. Anyway... so today, we're supposed to talk about the Parthenon frieze.

Triglyphs. What's there to know?

Our professor wanted us to read approximately 50 pages of material and photocopy 7 pages of images to assemble (before class, preferably, though we'd spend time in class going over them).

Taking art history at UNCG, I see.
Christ all mighty.
Whoa sorry ended up having some leather orders to fill for bros in FFXIV then I did some leves then I ate dinner and then I washed the gimp and basically found any excuse not to keep reviewing this blog.
And now that I think about it, leves reset again.
See you Wednesday~

Let's whine!

Leves reset in approximately 5 hours and I have nothing better to do until then unless I want to SLAUGHTER PUKS UNTIL MY EYES UNFOCUS LIKE LAST NIGHT but I don't. Also my break is ending and I have to go back to my horrible high school and teach assholes incapable of learning elementary English in three days. :(
But mostly I have to get up early. That's my real problem with all this.
Here's some whining cunt, I dunno.
Actually grinding puks for cotton bolls and wind shards isn't that bad. It's entertaining in a mindless sort of way.

What food would you never put in your mouth for any reason, and why?

Pretty much 90% of every kind of food I see.
i dont think i could ever eat a rats head.

I don't think that's a food.
in thailand its used to be a favorite street corner snack, until it was one of the causes of an ebola outbreak.

Spoke too soon. Adding Thailand to my list of "places to avoid" incidentally, Christ all mighty. If you eat rat heads you take whatever you get.

but besides that, i just dont think i could ever mentally stomach the idea of eating one.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say any part of the rat I can't imagine eating.

i think after hearing the crunching sound of the skull i puke up everything thats in my stomach

People of Thailand: I hear there's this incredible invention called the domesticated chicken. Look into it sometime.
Here's a posted called "losing it" and I had to agree about 5 times I'm 14 years or older. This is kind of unusual because the entire blog isn't like this, just this one specific post.
Can you imagine if movies were like this?
THIS MOVIE IS PG BUT FOR THIS ONE PARTICULAR SCENE YOU HAVE TO AGREE YOU ARE 14 AVERT YOUR GAZE IF YOU ARE UNDER 14.

its been a long time again since we last spoke and im losing my mind.

I love it when bloggers say "since we last spoke" like I'm just knocking on her door on the internet.
"Oh hi, come on in and let me pour you some Kool-Aid and let's talk about my shitty blog."

i just dont know how to keep it together anymore. im fucking losing it and i feel like im either gonna hurt someone or have to be committed.

Hey, hey I agreed for some PG-13 content. "Fuck" is definitely an R rating.

im just fucking losing it and i cant get a grip on my mind anymore, fuck. i feel like putting my head through a wall and killing myself cause i dont know how to deal with anything anymore.

Well I see a "kill yourself" tag in your future.

just wish some fucking miracle would happen and save me from everything.

"The Lord helps those who help themselves" I believe the Bible says.

i dont think those fucking doctors were right about me not being bi-polar.

Fucking doctors giving me meds that take the edge off but don't do anything for me--
wow you are fucking crazy.

i was thinking about the band i wanna try out for and where that would go and i was also thinking about getting a job to make money and pay for things.

... Speaking of how crazy I am: the job I want.
I just got whiplash from that abrupt change of topics, Jesus.
You probably can't tell because of the way I chop the text up but this is the very next sentence. There's not even a paragraph break. Fuck, she even forgot the space between the period and the next word.
im having a hard time concentrating again. i got the music playing and the tv on to try and help keep me focused.

To ensure I can concentrate I have as many distracting things as I can surrounding me.
i work best that way being ADD.

ADD and bipolar. You are a mess. I have a novel idea: stop fucking thinking of yourself for ten goddamn minutes.

i just really dont know what to do with my life anymore. i wish i could just kill myself and make it easy or just fucking start all over again some way.

People who always talk about killing themselves never do it (I'm just trying to goad you into doing it).

i dont know how to deal with anything and i need my friends so bad. i just fucking want someone here with me or someone to fucking call me for a fucking change.

You know "fuck" only adds emphasis to a word so many times in a row before it loses its impact. You have to let it cool for a bit.

im thinking out of context again, wishing for a better dream in the future. some guy harassing me while im on a movie set about my father and i kick his ass and hold him for citizens arrest.

What the fuck?
Settle down now, wacky.

im trying to calm down and keep it together but its just so fucking hard to. i feel like i should just fucking give up on everything and die somewhere far away from here.

Also, note to future self: Wish You Were Here, So Far Away
HA.

im such a fucking cry for help and attention but i feel its always been that way.

Ho-boy. Yawn.
What a fucking whiny bitch you are, goddamn.
so last night i saw of picture of her kissing her boyfriend again. and just like that it set me off and i immediately got depressed and angry. thank god it wasnt as bad as last time but it was still pretty bad. it only lets me know how much she really does love him and then my skin starts to boil with hatred for this guy.

... Surely this isn't a guy?

i just want her back and i know shes never coming back.

No, I need assurance this is not a man.
i'll always be that guy to her.

This is seriously the most shocked I've been at the gender of a person in a long time on this blog.
just another page in her book. but shes forever burned into the back of my mind and on my heart and i cant ever get rid of the memory of her.

Time to get over it, pusscakes. I know she broke your heart but your goal should be to make her write this whining post about you instead of the other way around next time.
Also while I was digging through my image folder I found an early beta version of my FFXIV character (I know I'm the only person who cares but whatever):

She sure was dark back then.
I guess she's still a delicious brown color but definitely more red than blue now.
Also bintier haircut back then because I didn't know it was the archetypal bint haircut and I thought she just had bangs and it was shorter in the back or like some kind of pageboy haircut :(
Ah, those were good times.

i dont understand why its so hard for me to make and keep friends. why is this a problem that ive been struggling with all my life? its not fair at all!

Oh my God dude. This reads like Hope whining in FFXIII, I'm dead fucking serious. You are the whiniest person I've ever read on Livejournal and that is saying a ton.
im tired of being alone and i just want people that will talk to me and hang out with me! it that so much to ask for!?

Considering I'd fucking punch you if we hung out I think you're better off in isolation.
or better yet, how is it that my brother can make such could lifelong friends that he has and there have never been any problems with any of them.

Because your brother is a cool dude, apparently.
How the fuck is it I hate people and can make friends? Where did you go so horribly wrong, friend?
Oh right, I don't whine incessantly and at least try to be interesting and charming.
why is it so hard for me just to make so real friends? real and good friends? why cant i talk to my best friend more?

All right bro some fucking free advice: fuck friends, fuck all that bro shit, you don't need any of it. What you need to do is cruise on down to the motherfucking Olive Garden, find the most delicious (brown is optional) waitress and you need to make time with her.

i feel like im slipping away from him and maybe that he doesnt feel like we're best friends as much as we used to be. i dont know what would happen if i lost his friendship.

PROBABLY BECAUSE YOU ARE GETTING OLDER AND YOUR FRIEND FINDS HIMSELF WITH A JOB AND MAYBE A GIRLFRIEND AND LIFE OBLIGATIONS.
everything is always good when we're in person. but we cant just talk on the phone like regular people.

Most men I know don't talk on the phone like fucking women. They call, they make plans, and that's the end of it.
im just so fucking tired of always being alone up here and having no one to talk to. and im fucking tired of all the people up here that ive tried to be friends with. my fucking neighbors are still right next to use and i havent heard anything out of them for about 10 months now. some great fucking people they are.

Know how many times I've spoken to my neighbors since I moved here?
NO TIMES.

i hate always crying and being the emotional type lol

Oh my God dude, really?
lets see where to begin on this one. im not sure where to start myself. i just need to get this out cause it pisses me off.

I found the entire Skyrim theme song that they use in the trailer on its own in Mp3 format. You need to listen to it a few times I think, my good faggot.
It's about making blood oaths and fighting to the death and killing dragons and shit.
Just a little manliness to balance your otherwise pussy self out.
It's also 1:30 because it's modeled after old songs and back in the day they knew how to say what they meant and then shut the fuck up.
Something we should all strive to emulate I feel.
so apparently ive lost another friend...again. i hate the state of the way things are done in this world today. its all internet without any earthly human confrontation today. it leaves us all to be cowards.

Did you just accuse me of cowardice you mealymouthed worm?
I will fucking fight you over such an accusation.

hi its me again. its been a while since we've talked.

Hi, just me knocking on your door. Door to your house. House on the internet.
it started with my birthday. i was stuck here with no money and no friends to take me out on my birthday to have fun.

No one cares. Go to work.

i loathed the days upcoming to my birthday cause my past birthdays have been ruined by her.

Days leading up to my birthday are exciting. ANOTHER YEAR GONE, ANOTHER YEAR TO CONQUER.
Oh shit he just updated. This rarely happens so let's REWIND YO and read.
i dont really know how to start this but everything is just a mess again. im out at starbucks writing this time cause i think mom is gonna kick me out. im sorry that i cant control my anger but everything just continues to get worse here.

I can't control my anger nothing is ever my fault but other people are cowards ;_;

i had big plans to leave and go leave in texas with my grandparents but oh wait im guilible and he has alzhiemers and doesnt really have any money to help me out or put me through college.

Then you get student loans and you get a job and put yourself through college, goddamn.
just another stupid plan that fell through cause im too stupid and wont grow a fucking pair and just up and leave this place. and stupid fucking jen was supposed to call me last night and she even fucking promised that she would. i swear im never gonna be fucking able to trust people again. i know we've both been fucking playing games with each other but dammit a fucking promise is a promise.

Yeah. A promise is a promise. First manly thing you've said all blog but it was in reference to what someone else should do.

i think im getting ahead of myself again, feeling a little narsasistic but then again arent we all.

NO, FUCK YOU.
the only times i find myself not thinking is when im playing WoW now which ive got hooked on.
I enjoy this sentence for several reasons:
1. is anyone surprised this guy plays WoW?
2. playing WoW takes literally no thought at all.
Ho, ho, ho. I feel like I just got a look into the average WoW player's life.
she told me today if you wanna take off the just take off.

Taking my pants off, baby and when I do there can be no stopping THE PYTHON.
Hooo, goodness. I'm officially up to his first entry where his location is "his room" and his mood is "lonely :("
What a pussy, goddamn.

Let pride go afore, shame will follow after.

What have we here today? A very smart, unique, creative, one-of-a-kind poster. Just like everyone on Livejournal-- say.
Anyway I found today's bint the same way I find all bints now: on the question of the day, also known as writer's block. It's a handy little thing for when you want to post about something but don't have anything to say, which needless to say Livejournal users have nothing at all to say, so it's probably the most popular feature.

Have you ever closed the door on an opportunity or a relationship in order to open another door, only to realize you made the wrong choice?

I feel like they've already asked this question and they probably have at some point so I'm not really sure what the fuck anymore.

Yes. I call that Husband #1, Husband #2, and every boyfriend I've ever had, except for Rich... who I cannot have. So. Yeah. I got that goin' for me.

Oh hey let me post about shit that has no connection to fucking anything my reader could relate to.
And before any of you nonexistent chucklefucks says "hurr maybe she's just talking to friends" fuck you she should have been prepared for a wider audience.
Now here's an entry entitled "I don't make these terrible things up, I only report them" and I'm PREPARING FOR LAUGHS!
So... the female equivalent of a hard-on... is a wide-on.

Think about it.

...
No, actually.

I shouldn't have laughed at that at all... but I laughed my ass off.

No you certainly should not have.
Don't hate me.

I hate you but probably not for the reason you'd be expecting.
Oh, and here's two comments. Let's read what her gaggle of cunt friends has to say about this diamond.

I told that one to Steve and we both cracked up!

OH THAT STEVE!

What is your favorite John Lennon song, and why?

If you don't say "Watching the Wheels" you don't know shit about video games.
Woman. Don't think it needs much explanation

Can't say I'm surprised.
Would you rather be super-rich or super-smart if you would only be average in the other category?

Rich. If you pick anything else you're a derp.

I'm already super smart and super poor.

Not that smart, then. CREAM RISES TO THE TOP, PEASANTS.
Which fictional world would you choose to visit, and why?

Warhammer universe.
For several reasons, not the least of which being when I got back to my universe any issue would pale into insignificance compared to what goes on there.

This one. Anyone who knows what this is, it doesn't need explanation

The picture is from Myst, a popular point-and-click game from a few years back, still the fourth (?) best selling game of all time. Also yes I think it does need an explanation. I mean you spend most of the game totally lost and confused in that world. At least in the Warhammer world you know what's what.
If you could have any musician or band play live - just for you and your friends - who would you pick?

I bet her answer is going to be really pretentious.
I don't know what I mean by "I bet" because literally no one would bet against me.

Oh my god, is there a person alive that doesn't know my answer to this??

Ha, ha you suck. I called that one.
Guildleves reset in 6.5 hours. Definitely won't be awake for that shit. Anyway best be off. Be seeing you.

My brain is collapsing in on itself.

ELLIPSIIIIIS.
Before I begin, let's discuss what, exactly, the fuck is happening here. As near as I can tell this person writes responses from the perspective of the character V (from V for Vendetta), or thinks (s)he(?) is actually V. Yet sometimes this person doesn't post from this perspective, but the voice of the posts never really changes so I have no idea what the fuck is happening.
I seen something last night so horrific that it just makes me so insanely distraught and livid beyond compare at humanity.

Somehow I doubt V, who reads Shakespeare and whose favorite movie is "The Count of Monte Cristo" (the 1930s version) would start a sentence with "I seen".
I can't imagine why his favorite movie would be either rendition of The Count of Monte Cristo when neither has dick to do with the book.

I saw this ... this ... video ... and it made me sob out of pure sadness and disgust.

What was it?

If I ever were to witness such a thing, not a doubt in my mind, I would kill that person.

Johnny badass. What was it?

Take a sledge hammer to their legs before stabbing them in the eyes and then give them a snake tongue. Because what they did is pure evil.

Oh my God come on dude, what'd you see?

And they deserve that mark so everyone will know how evil they are.

I guess we'll never know.
I've seen a lot of fucked up shit on the internet, though.
I forget how truly evil the world is ... yet I feel like I am bound by chains and can't do anything about it.

Oh, how freeing. "I can't do anything about it, time to play video games."
Really dude, spending years upon years plotting vengeance is a lot of fun when it's a book or a movie or something but in reality it seems like a ton of build up for very little pay off.
Then, what, you've rid the world of one asshole. Only nine billion remaining!
I feel like a choice is going to come to me one day -- whether to take the path of forgiveness or the anti-hero ... But ... if I do take the path of the anti-hero ... will I be forgiven my sins in the end?

BAHAHAHAHAHA.
"I feel like one day I may actually become BATMAN."
He seems more the type to want to become The Punisher, though. Of course he probably weighs 400 pounds so he'll fail at both, but that's just the impression I get.
I may never see Heaven after that. *Sighs* ... But something has to break. Something has to change.

Wouldn't an anti-hero not worry about conventional rules like what a religion dictates? Isn't that kind of the point of an anti-hero? They're doing heroic things for less-than-heroic reasons?
Or, really, an anti-hero can do villainous things for a seemingly justifiable reason. It's like that William Shakesman play, Richard III.
Then if you're good at manipulating the audiences' emotions (and you aren't) you can do like what William Shakespeare did and make the hero not sympathetic, then sympathetic, then finally not again for the finale.

I'm sad to see that someone had already named a story of theirs "Genesis."

I seem to recall this book, what was it called? The Bible or some shit. Anyway, it had a story called that.

I talk to Eris sometimes ... and she comforts me with words of 'neutrality' and 'patience.'

The Final Fantasy character?

You must understand my shock and surprise when, after only a few hours published on Fanfic.net, that I get my first and very kind review on my fan fic

Wow, the legendarily discriminating fanfiction readers have given you their stamp of approval. Only up from here, my friend.

... a couple hours playing FF 13 ...

Oh please, do go on.
I remember when I gave myself a regulation working on my story -- everynight at 11 for an hour --

No, not that-- never mind.

So ... I wrote a bit of a very sharp remark to the seeming atheists that bash the Lost finale. People who clearly vomit up the words, "religion ruins everything" ... clearly have no moral compass about themselves.

Yes, it is impossible to have a moral compass without religion.
What follows is an incoherent ramble about-- something.

This may just be my last journal entry. .... Things are not well at all ... but I wanted to pour out the last vestiges of my love for all those I know on here.

Hurray! Wait, no. No. Somehow there are entries after this.
My left arm is going numb ... a heart attack may very well be the end of me, but I aim to tell my father exactly what must be done.

THE BOMB IN MY CHEST IS GOING TO EXPLODE TAKING EVERYONE IN THE ROOM WITH ME.

It must be said ... I always wondered what song I'd kill and die with it blasting in the background. I always assumed it would be a Disturbed song ...

Ha, ha, ha, faggot.

and it may still be, when their album comes out this summer, but Good Day to Die by Godsmack is fucking epic beyond words. Every fucking lyric describes me to a T and the music is fucking bad ass shit! I'm definitely making an AMV out of it.

For my funeral they are to play "Fuck Tha Police" by "Niggas With Attitude".
Who is your favorite TV character of all time?

Hmm that's a tough choice.

John Locke is my favorite tv character of all time.

Oh that was easy for you.

Sadly, I do not have anything on Locke. I wish. But I roleplayed him -- and I was the best damned John Locke they have had or ever will.

Even better than the official rendition on the TV.
Anyway what follows is boring bitching from start to finish so I think I'm going to go do something that doesn't make me wish for the release of death.
